well, so far so good.  ;D

crowder and thomas are doing well. bench is not very good tonight, not taking good shots and defense is soft. but they did not cough up the lead.

rozier is showing that ainge made a good call. once again, danny seems to know more than i do about basket ball.  ;D

Scelts,

Smart piggy backs on other players for his plus minus.

The guy can't shoot. 23 percent three. 34 percent overall.

I'm actually ok with him playing. he just has to stop shooting.

Solid research you did there.  He "piggybacks" it.  I'm compelled by your argument.

Yeah his shooting is horrible.  Really horrible.  But the game of basketball doesn't revolve entirely around shooting.  There are other critical aspects of the game that you need to be competent in to be a good player.  Smart's intangibles are off the charts.

I'd be far more disappointed in Smart if he came out of college being touted as a good offensive player.  He's been disappointing in his shooting, but it was a known weakness.  Some people here act like it will never get better.  Maybe it won't.  But he's still young and he is capable of making large strides over the next few years.  If he improves to a respectable outside shooter and continues with his passing ability, he'll be a very, very solid player.

well, that changed in a hurry. soft defense and poor offensive execution will do that.  :P

need to play a lot harder. sigh.

Scelts,

Same story different year.

I guess we will get to hear the same story next year from the Smart apologists.

You put Smart on the court were he has to produce and you can't hide him and he will get exposed. He's only able to get good plus minus because of the players he's on the court with. The whole plus minus is flawed.
