What's Whiteside then? Last 3 games: 40 points, 1 assist.

he's averaging 6 ast a game lol

but I don't really see a problem with this. He's a scorer, a shooting guard...his job's to...shoot? I mean their record is reflecting that isn't it?

I have to assume this is said tongue in cheek.

Thompson fills his role as shooter/slasher better than most any SG I have seen. He doesn't create much for himself or others. What he does do is get his points within the flow of the offense. Others create a lot of the good looks he gets.

Who cares if he only has 1 assist. That's not his primary job.

Yea I think this is a joke. He also is over 50% from the field in this stretch including 16-30 on 3's!

Since when was being an efficient and dominant scorer that does well within the flow of the offense deemed a black hole?

I'll give you a perfect example of a black hole. Rudy Gay.

The basket seems to be a black hole when Curry and Thompson shoot.  Ball is drawn inexorably into it.  Good problem to have.

I don't think the Warriors mind.

His role on that team, at least right now, is not to be a facilitator.  He's a finisher.  A finisher who operates primarily 20-30 feet away from the basket.

I'll give you a perfect example of a black hole. Rudy Gay.

Interesting: Rudy Gay has more assists this season than Derrick Favors, JJ Redick, or Kristaps Porzingis.
