37 points. 8 threes.

I said it a few weeks ago, and I'll say it again.
This guy could go #3 pretty easily. He's legit.

Read that last line again. One more time.

I love it. He's got a really nice stroke. But i mentioned it in one thread few days ago and ill say it again. Aside from that (beautiful) drive to the rim, I wanna know that this kid can do more than just make contested jumpshots. Because NBA defenders are better, and he's not gonna have his way shooting the ball every night.

For those who have watched him more than me, is this really who he is: a jumpshooter with range, or does he have a driving game too? can he get to AND finish at the rim (something we wish marcus could do)?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

True, I have thought about this aswell. But then again imagine him playing for a team where he isn't the go to guy. For example, I think that Isaiah (or another good player) would draw a lot of attention away from Hield, which might enable him to put up big numbers in the NBA, given that he won't be the focal point for the opposing defense.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

Hield has a good driving game.  He creates his own jump shot pretty well. In the Oklahoma offense he stands around a lot.  His defense seems adequate.  Oklahoma doesn't seem to run an offense for Buddy.  It is mostly one on one drive and score or drive and kick offense.  Teams seldom help off Hield so most of his scores are shots he creates or transition shots, including three point shots.

It will be interesting to see how Hield can create his own shot in the pros.  I think teams are actually more likely to help off Hield in the pros.  His range is Curry like.  It wouldn't surprise me if in five years he was the only superstar out of this draft or the biggest one.  I wouldn't pass on Hield with any pick latter than 2.

Yes, this could be a real end result. I could see him being a really good #2 offensive option.

I'd take him #3 in the draft.

OU's runs an offense that allows Buddy to thrive. His driving game is not great but good enough right now. You can't give him ANY space tho. His shot is too good.

I've been a little slow on the uptake this draft but Hield is the guy.  Also starting to really like Diamond Stone too.  You guys are on it though.  I'm so used to something else and listening to gary tanguay or something.

Diamond Stone is not top 20 for me either.
Seems super stiff like Kendrick Perkins or something.

I don't think he was suggesting taking Diamond Stone with the 1st pick and maybe not even our 2nd pick, but our 3rd pick which should be in the low 20's makes a great deal of sense for Stone.

Hield and Stone are just 2 guys that have been getting a lot of hype for us. Usually I balk at that stuff but I actually like them is all.  Still a ways to go until the draft though. KG Living Legend has better taste than Gary Tanguay and some other people i read and listen to.  Listening to the media has made me automatically balk at stuff and it's a bad habit.

Yeah I knew he wasn't talking about the Nets pick.
I'm just not a fan of Stone at all. Just my opinion and nothing wrong with walker's opinion.
Just something I don't like about Stone, I think he's too stiff to be efficient in the modern NBA.
