Unfair how good he is on defense.

Wow, what an incredible steal from Marcus... one of the best I've seen ever.
Definitely a top 10 play of the year.

I wish Sully would play closer to the hoop more.
He sunk 2 of 3 so why complain now.

Because they are still bad shots even if he makes them.

What's bad about a wide open 18 footer? Better than when he chucks up 3's, he's much more effective midrange

Im okay with open 18 footers, but we already have a few guys who can hit that shot. The Celtics need someone who can play close to the hoop and get buckets that aren't jumpshots. Sully is supposed to be that facet of their offense, but on nights like tonight, where he doesn't even look for his post game, we become a jump shooting team.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Yes, point being that this game is for the taking regardless of the current score. Celts have to clamp down on defense, that's all.

That was a pick six by Smart.  Unreal.

Nice drive by Smart. Like how he used his body to create space and pulled up just short of the rim. If he can perfect that it will be huge for him.

Every game Smart does something on defense that really impresses me.  Happened early tonight.

I'm not a football fan by any means, but I legitimately think Smart is one of the NBA athletes that could legitimately be a 2-sport player. I think he could legitimately have a future in football if he wasn't a basketball player. Bulk him up a little more, and I think it's definitely possible.

Yeah, I have no idea how Sully is supposed to guard Towns.
