When we won 5 in a row people were quiet. As soon as we drop one people talk as if we are the worst team in the NBA. Come on now.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Orlando got very physical in the 4th. Especially around the basket, with put backs. The C's did not respond well.
Nice to have KO if he is scoring, but around the basket in a physical game on D, he's glued to the floor.

That's KO's next step.....how to turn up the game when he is really needed.

I'm not so sure he'll take that step, I hope so.

Yup.....that's the Paul Pierce, Kobe , Cp3 gene.

Smart has this killer instinct and punches back no matter how hopeless

That's what names him special ......the motor and confidence to win gene.

Could just feel this loss coming since the blow out.......just sensed it.

Hope they don't let the Knicks and Pistons make it a mini losing streak

yea I agree with most of those points. I feel most of our lost this year was losing our edge in the 4th...There are some games where we are up by 13-15 or more but the opponent just played harder towards the end of the 3rd and the whole 4th. From what I can see, a lot of those reasons are, out rebounding, playing more physical and of course just making their shots and our complete collapse in the defensive end.

This is one of those games, Gordon, Vucecic, Fournier not only outplayed, but out rebounded our guys. KO has been re-emerging as of late but I agree with what all the above said...he needs to somewhat play like Smart for 48 minutes of the game, he needs that KILLER edge...IT, Smart and Crowder brings it every game...I understand when you're having an off shooting night but don't let that bother you, play tough, rebound, and play hard defense!

It was nice to see Smart turn it up tonight and had a TMac performance...be nice if they could win. I wish Smart can play like this every day. And is it just me or that postponed game (the blizzard) and Smart practicing his 3s helped since then

This year has been a 4 or 5 game winning streak, followed by 3-4 losses in a row. Hope they shake this off and re-group.

  • That's turrible
I'm cool with Marcus coming off the bench. He's awesome there. But I think the guy more than deserves his starting spot back if he keeps having these kinds of games

UUURRGGGHHHH....and I actually thought we have a good chance against the Cavs.

BLAH...took the Magic for granted and this is what you get...although IMO the Magic are not exactly a bum team, they just got unlucky this past month.  Boy did their shot fell though tonight especially in the second half.

It's not that they lost. It's who they lost to.

Y'all are so biased against people who don't jump around screaming and emoting. Just because some players are more reserved outwardly it doesn't mean they don't care or aren't giving it their all!

Whoever we draft with the Brooklyn pick, please God do not let him be a one-way player. I'm so tired of having one-way players on the Celtics who you have to keep in, even though they're a major liability on one end of the floor.

And by "one-way," I presume you mean "defense-only" players who can't shoot their way out of a paper bag? If so, I completely agree.

Yeah, the "defense-only" type that had 26 points and shot 5-9 on threes. Yes, that's exactly who I'm talking about.  ::)

Smart can be an all star but let's see some consistency.

For now IT is our all star and has saved us in a ton of games.

Crowder and Kelly lost the hand for us. They both need to play well every night.

So it's fine to criticize Smart's consistency but not to point out that IT is really only useful on one side of the floor? Got it. Sure, he's saved us offensively in many games, but how many games has he killed us defensively? There's a reason he can score 23 points and still end up a - 15 overall. During the run that won them the game, he gave up eight straight points to his man. That shouldn't be happening to an All-Star.

Kelly and Crowder, and Bradley to an extent, are just as much, if not more, to blame for tonight's loss. I just get tired of IT constantly losing his man or getting beat, which causes other to have to help off and lose their man.
