The way he's playing coupled with the fact they are in the playoff hunt...he's not getting traded.

And by the time he's ever available he'll be a shell of himself.

Old news. But it's a relief to have a new Boogie thread -- it's been at least a day since the last one.

I'm curious, have any of Cousins critics changed their mind?

The Kings are above .500 with Cousins in the lineup, and he's averaging something like 34 / 13 / 3 in January.

But no, he's not getting traded.  I thought that was clear when all the reports were that Divac wouldn't trade him under any circumstances.

We should have daily Boogie threads just to celebrate how good this guy is.  He followed up his Player of the Week honor with a 56 point effort (on 21-for-30 shooting).  He would have had more if he wasn't jobbed in 2OT on a ticky-tack foul.

Rondo has been a good influence on cousins. Good for them. If cousins controls his emotions and plays the right way, he can be good. Not only stats good (overrated)

Sure -- as long as they're about his game, and not his next team. We don't need a guy like him anyway.......

Right now Cousins is playing on another level. And yet, he does not get the respect that he should on a national level.  Rondo (20 assists 10 rebounds) has a great deal to do with it as he finds Cousin's in the right spot at the right time, something that is often overlooked in today's NBA.  What would you give to have Cousin's/Rondo in Boston to build around with Brad Steven's coaching them?

Anything but my soul. But who is going to beat the Warriors this year anyway. I think we can make the ECF if all our players keep progressing.

Nah we don't need a guy like him. What we really need two way center who is a legit star, spreads the floor and plays defense.

Cousins is just a two way center averaging 27.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals, and shoots 35% from three on 3.5 attempts per game.

Oh wait. Sounds...Exactly like what we're looking for.

Still amazing to me that people find ways to knock his game so much or talk as if his attitude tanks his play on the floor when he has those stats.

Can you just stop ssspence? You post the same thing over and over. Ok another DMC thread. But it has a different point than other ones and also it's a freaking message board. But you need to post the same comment in every single one. You are the one posting the same thing over and over.

I watched the ENTIRE double OT games last night, Kings vs. the Hornets, and I was AMAZED to see Kemba Walker getting calls and Cousins NOT getting them.  Astonishing.  With about 1 minute to play, Kemba came from behind Cousins on the baseline about 10 feet from the basket and did NOT even come close to the ball, and racked Demarcus around the elbow and upper forearm to allegedly force a turnover with NO foul.  I was amazed!!!

Then, I witnessed Kemba literally fall to the floor untouched and get two FT's at the end of the first OT.

Since when has Kemba earned MJ calls??????????????????

Cousins was arguably fouled on every shot attempt.  I felt like I was going back in time and witnessing the nightly assault of Shaq, only Cousins doesn't offensive foul on every post move, but is actually quick enough and has enough finesse and skill to NOT plow through people.

My point is, DC, even on a night when he should have scored 70 or 80, was getting very few calls!!!

He never was getting traded.  How many teams make major trades these days?  Only way it happens is when the star says publicly he wants out and team is forced to make best deal it can, a la Carmello in Denver.
