For me the biggest news of this is that I think it indicates that they aren't actively looking to tank
Philly has swap rights with their pick for this year and next, and if they haven't swapped gets it outright in 2018. They're not looking to tank.
EDIT: Philly would get it top-10 protected in '18, unprotected in '19.
Or maybe they are since Philly is so bad. What is better for Sacto pick 12 or pick 3?
