Starting Unit was

Zeller
Bass
Turner
Smart
AB

Bench
KO
Sullinger
IT
Jerebko
Crowder

We were redhot 2nd half of last season. The bench provided the fire power we needed to give teams fit

Now teams are laughing because if they can slow down the 1st unit they have little to worry about bench production

CBS is a good coach but is frustrating at times playing this non stop musical chair crap.   Feeling sorry for guys, trying to be fair etc.

CBS needs to stop trying to connect too much with each player and also be a strategist for the team.   Losing by 4, 6 points game after game is tiring to see. And especially teams knowing how to beat us (slowing things down/half court offense/putting a bigger player on IT etc.)

This lineup would help us remain unpredictable , set the tone on the defensive end early/encourage team passing then have IT come in and provide the scoring boost off the bench.

Starting
Amir
KO
Turner
Smart
AB

Bench
Sullinger
Mickey (free the kid already)
Crowder
Hunter/Rozier
IT

CBS needs to play to this rosters strength and that is to have a balanced lineup.  Make it hard for coaches to guess how to play our team.   Free flowing offense/defense instead of what is looking at an increase of set offensive schemes.     Because what this does really limits how Smart,  KO for example can contribute on the offensive end.   I really liked the way last seasons team played and we should of just built on it

just curious, but could you provide some links or evidence to support this fundamental assumption to your argument?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The core premise of the OP fails. Using the same lineup as last year is not at all guaranteed to result in similar results, even if we still had Bass -- which we don't.

He's changed the lineup because we've got a different team.

That said, giving so much playing time to Lee from the beginning, while not utilizing Zeller more in the role in which he had success last year, has been a mistake as far as I'm concerned.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

It's not , but its what worked last season and in my theory works better for this roster

You either have a strong 5 role player starting unit and a weak bench . or balance the 5-6 strong role players throughout the lineup.  Make it harder for opposing teams to do homework on the celts

Let's not rewrite history, Sully was hurt for a lot of that run, most all of it.  Our memories can be tricky things but yours is faulty here.

You can't have it both ways, IT helps which ever lineup he is in.

I think we need to make a deal, but not just any deal.   Team needs a shake-up.

Sully is in better shape and moving than last year, he is still good Sully/Bad Sully in terms of shooting but almost always rebounds.  He is not hurt.  JJ can't buy a bucket this year.   We added Amir there are plenty of reasons that should be obvious to you.  We have a different team as others have said.

plus

OTHER TEAMS ARE NOT TANKING WHOLESALE as they were last year.   I think this made us a better team than anything.

I loved that Jerebko (PF) and Olynyk (C) combination off the bench. Having two perimeter bigs who can open up the offense caused mayhem for opposing team's 2nd units.
