It's going to be a sellers market at the deadline with so many teams competing for playoff spots.

Danny should zig when the rest of the league zaps and try to sell high on guys like Thomas, and Bradley, and see what throwing in Amir, Sullinger, or Turner does for the deal.

The Celts are still a long way away from having a core group that can get it done. Danny should keep shuffling these assets and try to identify ways to continue adding value to the cache.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Just sell Lee and replace him with Mickey.

I'm slowly starting to convince myself that this is a good idea...
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

They're in a funk right now, but they are still in the playoff hunt.

I'm on the completely other side of the fence.  I don't know what some of you are thinking in all honesty.  I think our core group is very talented but young and just needs to develop.

I am glad most of you aren't running this thing.

I'm about there, especially given the context of the picks we have this year and the fact that we could still legitimately get down to a bottom-5 record.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I'm starting to question whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

IT, Bradley, and Crowder are our core now. They are the players that have separated themselves from our mountain of role guys. Dumping them for picks would represent starting over from scratch and that's not something I can support.

Just dump the guys who are aggravating the roster logjam without contributing and give their minutes to the three rookies and see what happens. Don't tank, develop.

The Nets, Lakers, Sixers, T-Wolves and Suns have something to say about that.

If it's Isaiah, Bradley, Crowder, Smart, Olynyk and Sullinger carrying them it's a good thing.

Rookies are overvalued compared to developing players.  We have plenty of guys we drafted.  We are going to get a high pick anyways. I don't expect that player to be our savior right away either.  I think our core group developing and adding those pieces is where it's at.

Name me one team that has become successful not developing a team or their players?

First, Thomas Bradley and crowder as your core is a problem. That's not a playoff contender core.

Second, I'm not saying you just dump these guys for picks. I'm saying you look for teams that are in the playoff hunt who might give up a promising young player or two in order to give their team a better shot of making some hay in the playoffs. Indiana, Orlando, Utah, OKC, Houston, Chicago, Toronto... Those are some examples.

The good news is that David Lee is only here for salary matching purposes and the chances of him being waived at the deadline if not used for such purpose is 100%
