That IT kick out to Turner for the missed 3 is why we need a consistent scoring threat on the wing...
right. turner needs to attack the basket in those situations. get closer and shoot.
He is still hoping to build a reputation as a guy who can hit the 3, even though nothing in his career suggests he is capable of that.

Yeah I don't see it. At this point in his career I think he is what he is. Great offensive player in every facet outside of the 3 but with the way the game is changing and in CBS's system it's a huge achilles heel

This is an awful close to the half. The nets have d leaguers out there right now and we couldn't take advantage.

Those D-Leagues have been having these type of games with just about everyone in the league.

I meant specifically when Brook and Jack were out for the last 3 minutes of the half. We were only +2 during that time period (were even when i said it). That unit has actually not played well against anyone in the league.

Look, I'm not saying we need to hop on it, but I'm gonna put my snow pants on, head outside and start scraping ice off the ol tank-mobile just in case.

if it gets these kinds of comments off the game thread I think we are all for it.

Hope you're right. He was pretty pathetic first half.

Well, good to see the Celtics didn't learn anything from the Lakers game.

Pretty much.

well, since bradley is out for the game with a hip injury, this is not unexpected. but the celtics jump shooting will take a hit.

hopefully smart can play, well, smart in the second half.

We are looking at mediocre vs bad. And bad is winning right now.

I expect better from Lar. He gets an unfair reputation of just being negative, but typically has very good analysis / depth of information to back it up. This just exacerbates the former.

Let's just hope for a great start by Marcus and hope IT and Crowder can keep it up. This game is super-important; never mind back to back losses by the Lakers and Nets would be incredibly depressing.

yes, but the celtics started the game down by 8 and are now down by 1. even though the nets have yet to miss a free throw, have made some improbable shots, and, the celtics have missed 3-4 bunnies and played poorly. plus johnson may be gassed for the end portion. he is logging a lot of minutes and looked tired at times.

the celtics can, and should, win this game.
