We stopped getting stops when Smart went out. Imagine that. Stevens' rotations are just mind-boggling at times.

Danny has to make some trades just to shorten Brad's rotations.

Yep, he just HAS to play over 10 guys every night. It's ridiculous.

If this team wants to be taken seriously then they need to be obliterated for this disgusting effort.

And the Kobe chants... Embarassing.

What a horrible freaking night to be a Celtics fan.

Is it? This (likely) Lakers win combined with the Nets loss decreases the Lakers odds of getting that lottery pick while the Nets odds decrease.

This is an embarrassing loss, but there is upside to it.

That is probably the last minutes James Young plays this year. Hah

And he played over rj who had been getting steady rotation minutes.  Just bizarre.

I blame the players more for the effortless layup line they gave the Lakers for 3 quarters. We dogged it tonight, and then tried to pull together 8 minutes of effort.

I would have like Smart playing almost the entire 4th quarter though. He was clearly making a positive impact.

he must not be fully healthy. CBS isn't dumb.

He played Lee in crunch time.

Smart has only played 10 minutes tonight. He's cleared to play up to like 18 minutes if I remember right. Total misfire by him putting Young in there to start that Lakers run over Smart.

I love Smart and I am bummed that he didn't play more tonight, but I cant believe that CBS just didn't play Smart for no reason when we were getting torched by the Lakers in the first half. My guess is that Smart was on the books for 15 2nd half minutes, made that putback dunk and landed hard, and CBS thought it best to limit him to 10.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

I blame AB for this one, that terrible first half D was inexcusable.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Smart must still be on a minutes restriction. The Lakers looked lost when Smart was in the game. Stevens just had to bring back thomas and suddenly the lakers got hot again.

A terrible loss, C's didn't take the Lakers seriously at all. CBS played too many players.

Can we please get an athletic big man in the middle to rebound and protect the rim.

He doesn't play well in big games.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

That doesn't mean you throw out new lineups each game. Chemistry has been an issue all year long because of this crap by Stevens.

This is why this team won't be as good as the analytics predict.  They just don't have the talent to survive nights when the effort isn't there.

AB literally can't score after the first quarter. But this game isn't just on him

Does this qualify as a big game?
