people, listen up: movienewsguide.com is not a reliable place to be getting nba rumors.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I do find it funny that Lee has gone down with either a leg or back injury, depending who your asking or is saying. Groman last night said he didn't remember Lee getting hurt, said it was back. Injury report said it was leg.

Could be nothing, but phantom injuries tend to lead to these things. And Noah fills more of a need than Lee for the C's and Lee fills more of a need for the Bulls.

Now a way to get McBuckets as well. :)

I have a friend who is a huge Bulls fan that thinks Noah could easily be dealt for Lee and a mid 1st round pick.

Noah would fit nice with the scheme CBS likes .  .......if he can still bring it 18 -20 minutes a game.

It'll be nice, but I want to see a more reliable news site reporting it.

How about Lee and two early firsts (the Wolves pick)? I would be for that kind of deal. I have always liked Noah, but also realize he isn't the same player he used to be. Would add to our identity.

Yes, I'm sure Noah could be dealt for a mid-1st.  I'd hope Ainge isn't foolish enough to do that.

How about a late first?

You mean like the late first we gave for IT?  For a player who's currently out multiple weeks with a tear in his shoulder, and who, when healthy, is shooting 41% from 2 and under 50% from the line?  Ainge isn't Billy King.

Noah is on the last year of his contract. The question for Danny is whether we're interested in trying to sign Noah long term. Given where this team is at (and given the current injury to Noah), is it worth it for us to give up Lee and a mid to late first for what would otherwise amount to a half year rental on Noah? If we want a chance to try and integrate Noah, and sell him on staying with the concomitant financial commitment going forward with the huge cap increase - I'm guessing Noah is looking for $15-$20 mill per for three to five years - then by all means...

+1, He's injury prone and a FA after this year.  Don't trade anything of value for him.

I'd rather take my chance on Noah than a rookie that spends the whole year in the d league -- and may or may not ever be a starter in the nba.

ding ding ding! great pick up. I heard the same comments, thought it was interesting but then forgot about it during the game. I just made a thread about this so that we could talk about it in regards to other players and not derail this thread. But I think you are on to something here.
