Ainge was asked about DeMarcus Cousins and while he refused to talk about him by name, he downplayed any interest in a guy that could be disruptive.
I don't think it's ever a good idea to have players that are disruptive to your team, on the court and off the court.
This is why I don't believe Danny (at least about disrupting the locker room):
Exhibit A (and he actually traded 2 highly regarded locker room guys for him too!)

Exhibit B

Exhibit C
During the 2004–05 season, Miles made headlines after a confrontation with then-coach Maurice Cheeks in which Miles reportedly insulted Cheeks with racial slurs and remarked he "did not care if the team were to lose the next 20 games" since Cheeks was "going to be fired anyway". According to ESPN's Chad Ford and other accounts, after Cheeks asked Miles to leave, Miles' response was "Make me." When Cheeks left the room to see Blazers' general manager John Nash, Miles ran behind him shouting, "That's right, run to your daddy."

Exhibit D

Exhibit E

Exhibit F

And since these clowns has he brought in another troublemakers?
Marcus Smart is a hothead. Sully was allegedly involved with domestic violence. Evan Turner isn't particularly well-liked and was run out of Indy after fighting with teammates.
Smart has flare ups which is not the same to Cousins constant moodiness.
Cousins is a dominant NBA player, which is not the same as Smart.
Look, anyone who thinks what Ainge said on T&R yesterday means he won't trade for Cousins if given the opportunity has their head up their... well, somewhere it wasn't meant to fit.
Sure my friend. And those who think Ainge is lying even to himself forgot to take their morning pill
There is no need to be overly suspicious. Like --you said you won't but I know you will-- business. Unless you can't accept what crazy Ainge is saying because your agenda is Cousins must become a Celtic(and also he will become a saint once he becomes a Celtic). Then you might be living in a dream world. BTW no offense to some of you dreamers
I'm not your friend. And I'm not a dreamer. I don't think the Cs will have the opportunity to get Cousins this year, because I don't believe the Kings have any interest in trading him. But that doesn't change the fact that I don't think you have the first clue what you're talking about.
I don't have to have a clue. It came from the horses mouth.
You are the one without a clue when the clue (without ainge mentioning cousins name directly) is dangling In front of your face. Or you are wyc hence you can overrides ainge opinion
There are lies, [dang] lies and the stuff GMs say about possible trades. Ainge didn't actually say anything definitive. He may not be willing to give up as much for someone of Cousin's talent level as he normally would because of Cousins possible disruptiveness. However if he could get Cousins for good value, I can't see him not making the trade.
Even just for a 1st for Cousins would he? I question this. Because guys from the Spurs, GSW, Celtics (Crowder, Lee) have pointed out, teams like theirs are looking to add guys with character and don't cause external issues in any way.And this also includes trouble in he locker room, having mood swings attacks etc.
How many guys like that are on GSW, Spurs , Celtics squad currently? None . the coach then gets to concentrate on the important stuff
Cousins might buy into things but most likely will not. Same with a guy like harden. It's not so much how much you have to give up or how little you have to give up to obtain but what happens after the trade and with their influences on the team.
