I could accept this loss.

But think if we had Paul Pierce in this situation would we have won?

this was a fun game. even with the spurs making some great shots, a few more free throws would put the celtics in the lead.

fun to watch!! i like this team more and more. but the end of the season they should be playing very well as a team.

tps to all you folks for having faith in the celtics!!!  ;D

the only thing to really look at is ET ball watching on like 3 plays that manu scored on to end it. even then et wasn't the reason we lost, spurs are just better (a little lol).
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

we lost, but that's fine...I'm still optimistic, we got so [dang] close...those plays at the end, in my opinion was drawn up very well by Brad Stevens and we executed very very well...close, and had a couple of good possessions but couldn't capitalize.

Also, did anyone notice how Gregg Popovich and Stevens at the end of the game...I've never seen Pop talked to an opposing coach for this long...usually in a lot of games, he just shakes the hands of opposing coaches and leaves...wonder what was said

yeah. these were two very well coached teams. fun basketball to watch. the spurs have more talent and more time together. but the celtics still made them work like hell down to the end.

i like this team.  ;D

I think we need one more plus player to win this kinds of games, missing Smart in that regard.

We did really good ....little black Mamba is Oooooo tey

Spurs have like five top fifty players .....10 stars or former All Stars .....

It's a little lopsided affair .......they were loaded BEFORE they aquirred Aldridge

They are loaded to win THIS year .......Celtics are a young work in progress

Imagine had we just sunk those FT that KO and amir usually makes..this would have altered the entire ending...man I knew that those free throws missed was gonna bite us in the cheek.

Stupid, stupid, stupid play. They should've used their last freaking timeout on that play with 18 or so seconds left. No excuses.
yes there are. CBS may have seen that the celtics were in a flow and the spurs were not set. the celtics simply too a low percentage shot with time on the clock. that is not on CBS.

It wasn't off of a missed shot; it was off of a free throw (a made free throw if I remember). Thus, it was hardly possible that they were going to catch their defense off-guard. I can understand if it was off of a missed shot where they were pushing the ball to catch the D off-guard, though I disagree with that philosophy, but it wasn't that situation. They were going to be set up off that no matter what.
