Maybe we can get him back for Danny's fifth (big) absolute steal, hired-for-life-type-trade deal. David Lee for him? Salaries would be a problem, but I'm sure some other idiot GM might help out.

Posted the same last year. He's a good basketball player. I'd rather have him than Olynyk, which I guess isn't saying that much.

I rather have Powell than Lee.

Also if we had Powell , wouldn't need to resign jerebko

I too have noticed he is doing well, could he end up being the best player in that trade, has Rondo fallen so far?

every year i have a pet or two, usually all around players with bbiq and sometimes overlooked-dwight was i thoughta perfect fit for boston as a city and a stanford kid
he chewed up the d league, i watched his games for red claws and i felt he was far better than young
,i watched him in summer league again looked very good
so i hope he helps dallas and now my favorite is rj ,again weight disadvantaged  but has played nice d and after he played zone in college,so i  got me another bbiq along with active in his own way with reach ins and using length-
rozier i have a little trouble with his dribbling style stop start spurt  but doesn't seem to know where he is going with it-i think he needs tutelege from isaiah
-back to dwight,he crashes the boards, a slasher, runs the court ,good length and vertical, nice shot ,good hands and a nice touch and is filling out-hope he helps get that higher draft pick it will help that we gave him away

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
You have to give up to get something. We have IT from that trade and and a pick. All Dallas has is him. I hope he plays great so we get their pick this year. The Future is Bright in Boston. I actually have the nets as a fav on my phone to see if they lost. Sully and KO looked great in the last game.

Powell looked like an NBA player from day 1 with us, not surprised at all by this.

You got Crowder from that trade. IT was acquired in exchange for the Cleveland pick and Marcus Thornton.

Who knows about the future, but as of this weekend, RR just posted another triple-double in the GSW-Kings game, prompting this comment from Coach Karl
Quote
"I thought our leader was Rondo. He was first class and incredibly into the game," coach George Karl said. "His defense on Curry was first class. I just wished we had a little more gas in the tank to finish off the game."

So, maybe he's picking himself back up from where he'd fallen?

Long term, Powell is still very young and could go on to have a very good career.  As could Crowder.  As could whomever we get with the draft pick.

Still way too early to say which of all those will end up as the best player out of that trade.

We got IT later, in the three-way trade with Phoenix:

BOS get Isaiah Thomas (from PHO),  Gigi Datome & Jonas Jerebko (from DET)
PHO get Marcus Thornton & 2016 CLE pick (from BOS)
DET get Tayshaun Prince (from BOS)

Basically, we got IT for MT & the CLE pick.

The parts we got in the Rondo->DAL trade were Jameer Nelson, Jae Crowder, Brandon Wright and a protected first round pick (Dallas).

We traded Wright to PHO for the MIN 2016 pick (protected).

dwight powell has 3rd double double in a row-i liked this kid and followed him in every d league game-active,can jump nice shot, runs the floor, bbiq
And how is this all different from Kelly Olynyk?

Also, I'm not sure where you got the third double-double thing. He's got 1 double-double all season.
