Zeller has stunk so far.  Last year he was certainly serviceable but this is a new year and for whatever  reason, he is not doing as well.  Sports are what have you done for me lately.

Lee to me has been disappointing.   I thought he played decent  the second to last game we played.  But it is clear to me, that he lacks lift.   He is a better passer than I thought.  But his offensive game has been underwhelming.  I think he gets blocked too much.   He is a rental so no big deal and he is veteran who may yet turn it around.

It is early for both of these guys.  Sully is hot but may go cold.   It is way to early folks.   But I am glad that Ainge did not offer extensions to these guys.   Let them earn it, if Sully can maintain, he will earn a contract.

Lee to me allways was an energy guy. not overly skilled, a guy that rebounds and fights for the ball for a living. I have to admit that I wasnt able to follow his carrier to closely but he is still the type of player he was when he came into the league. He is much older now, he also managed to become an allstar at some point and that he had some injuries and that he might have lost a step. For me its really hard to grade his games so far or quantify the difference compared to what I expected from him. To me he seems the quickest of our bigs, the 3rd best rebounder and the 3rd or 4th best scorer. Is the way he plays so much worse than what he did in the past/was to be expected from him? Is he a good fit in the C's? Does he need more time to get used to his new teammates b4 he quites the majority of ppl who are not yet happy with him? For me those questions are really hard to answer. What I can say is that Suli is way better rebounding and scoring (as I expected him too) and if everything runs normal the gap that seperates these 2 should only be getting bigger until Lee retires. If I compare Lee and Zeller its much closer. Zeller obv. is much better when he is able to show us right now. Last year he was struggeling too at the beginning of the season, but he managed to show that he has a really nice soft touch and a great looking jumpshot. Yes he is a weak defender and rebounder. He gets manhandeled by stronger and more athletic bigs but CBS can adjust the gameplan to compensate the loss of scoring ability in that kind of situations. Zeller is still young and has shown a lot of solid performances last season dispite the fact that he was never among the top scoring options in the C's lineup. If I compare what both Lee and Zeller can bring to the table right now its not that easy to sit one guy while the other gets good minutes. I feel a little sad for Zeller because I believe you can replace Lee with Zeller without losing quality. Lets see how things develop in the next weeks - maybe one of the 2 can use the chances that turn up with other guys injured and unable to play. Hopefully Ainge is making a move at some point to clear the logjam a little because imo all of our bigs deserve minutes which is just not possible atm. CBS allready has too much flux in the lineup - players generally do better with clearly defind roles and minutes. You want your players to know what their teammates are going to do and how to play with them in order to play to their stenghts. You want your guys to know what you expect from em in the minutes the play - what you don'T want is a player that is getting confused because you ask him to be a diffent guy/role on every 2nd night. And then you just take him out of the lineup for weeks because the he didnt fill the role I definded for him as I had planned. Obv. not the plan is flawed it gott be the player :D

Anyways this whole thing is going to be an issue, maybe for the reminder of the season. It will be intresting to see if CBS can somehow manage to keep his bigs happy.
