Hopefully, this win will cease some of the talk of tanking on this board.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Jarrett Jack is 6 of 18 for the Nets.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

I'm at work and unable to watch the game but delighted to see the C's running away with this one. I go to watch the highlights that they already have up on NBA.com and 3 of the 4 videos and [dang] Wizards highlights. How is that possible?!

A shame someone has to win that game.

Lakers giving it away.  They know how to tank.  Lead is 3. Now 5.  But Lakers trying to give it away.  RHJ misses 2 clutch FTs.  Thank you.

Oh god, I didn't know the Lakers were this bad.  After watching that C's motion offense, this is so terrible. They just want to take iso jumpers

At least Clarkson has the good sense to try to take some time off the clock

In other news, the Magic just beat the Raptors.  This is a good thing since the Magic are one of the few teams who will probably near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, but still better than Brooklyn.

TP was just about to watch the 4th quarter.
Magic looking pretty nice so far. I didn't think they'd be better than Brooklyn but they're gonna give them a run in the East.

I'd be very surprised of Brooklyn is better than Orlando - or even close, really.

Orlando doesn't have any stars, but they have a stacked with young prospects - you have to think at least one of those guys is bound to have a breakout year.  If not they have enough talented depth to win some games.

Brooklyn on the other hand really only have two quality players (Lopez and Young) and the rest of the team is pretty much hot garbage.  Yes, I am including Joe Johnson in that latter category - he is woeful these days.
