I say both, no doubt. But if I had to choose one, it would the Cavs.  Nothing better than to beat Lebron and his team

Cavs for me, undoubtedly.

In the GSW game, I wouldn't mind losing as long as Marcus Smart absolutely locks down Curry. If GSW also locks us down with Iggy/Green or Klay buries us, that's fine. If Smart owns Curry, it's like a 'win' in my book ;D

Beating the Cavs is always nice.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Why would beating Golden State bring about any sort actual satisfaction? If it happens, sure it'll be a nice high to beat the champs, but... yeah. It won't compare to beating Kobe or LeBron regardless.

Cavs for sure.

Cavs are locked up in massive contracts for years to come, so every year they get knocked out of the playoffs (and Lebron gets another year older) it will make them burn that little bit more.

I'm really not the biggest fan of the player monopoly that exists on every single recent Lebron team, so I absolutely love to see them lose.

By 'Player Monopoly' I'm referring to the fact that every recent Lebron team has basically been built on the concept of:

1) Throw all of your available cap space onto three big stars

2) Convince every available veteran free agent to sign with you for well below market value, just for the chance to play on Lebron's team

Though they aren't doing anything against the rules, i still can't help but feel they are using legal tricks to circumvent the salary cap, which I just don't believe is right.

I am made all the more bitter by the fact that this entire Cleveland 'big 3' wouldn't even exist if not for a highly convenient bit of 'freak luck' that saw the Cavs somehow beat all the odds to steal the #1 pick in a year where the draft happened to be incredibly hyped, and in a year where Lebron James happened to be a free agent (and happened to be interested in going back to Cleveland).

I'm not one to get caught up in conspiracy theories, but that whole situation stinks of a rat, and for that reason there is nothing (NBA related) that I want more than to see the Cavs fail miserably.  I don't care who beats them, I just want them to lose.

If we, of all teams, (with a star-less roster that owes all of it's success to unselfishness and teamwork) beat themthen it would be all the more sweet.  Though I don't see that happening unless they get hit by major injuries to critical team members.

Cavs. Lebron is the second dirtiest player in the game behind his buddy, Wade.

Cavs due to the Lebron factor. Also like to see KO marking up on Love. Mainly though it would be such a boost for the team to beat the Cavs after the playoff clean sweep we suffered. I know its a new season but that would show real progress.

Lakers are the Celtics eternal enemy .   Never tank against them . Winning is everything.

Cavs are only significant as long as LeBron is superhuman ......when that ends they dry up and blow away back into obscurity.

How ? You want KO to yank Loves other arm??

Love would never return KO's call then

Lakers.

who cares about anyone else -- they're just other teams but the Lakers are eternally the spawn of hell.

Granted, there's always a warm feeling generated anytime Lebron loses so beating Cleveland is a slightly greater pleasure than beating every other non-Laker team.

Agreed. We're in a three year stretch where we have twice the reason to root against them.

It will also be great if Smart beats Randle in a personal match-up.
