My lakers friend and I made a bet.

If the Lakers make the playoffs I'll eat a hat.
If the Celtics reach 54 wins, he will eat a hat.

Who ends up eating a hat: me, him, both or neither? Discuss.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Neither.

Lakers roster is imbalanced, and honestly there is really no defense besides Hibbert.

Celtics winning 54 would be very tough, we could finish around 44-48 wins, and maybe even 50. But 54 would be the top 3 in the East, so who knows? Do you think the Celtics are a top 3 team in the east?

Also, pics, and videos please if you decide to actually go through it.  :P

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

I just LOLd at lakers making the playoffs this season
Maybe if most of the teams in the west have season ending injuries to key players early in the season
Then they would be able to compete for 8th spot

Celtics getting 54 wins is a bit more realistic but I think that's a very slim chance
As very good teams like Spurs and grizz can barely make that
While we still lack a star player (hopefully smart evolves into one)
But even with our progress I think other teams have improved more greatly
I predict that we are a 39- 43 team and 9th in the east behind pacers

Yeah no hats eaten.  You should've gone with 50, I'd say that's got about the same odds as the Lakers making the playoffs (~5%).  54 is pretty far out there.

Celtics not wining 54 .....lucky to win 45 ....I'm getting more skeptical by the day.

Lakers might win 30 ......they won't even smell the playoffs this year or next.

All caps are safe.
