Well even if the Nets play .500 ball from here on out, were still getting a good lotto pick out of them.  Not bad.

28 wins would have a win % probably leaving us with the #6 pick.  We're in pretty good shape as long as they don't go on a run.

It's going to get worse as the season progresses.  They have nothing to gain by losing.  When teams start shutting down for the playoffs or tanking for ping pong balls, the nets will win games.   But one thing is certain... they are finishing below .500 this year.  They are in such a hole that it's basically a lock we get a lotto pick from them.  Pretty awesome.

It'll be a top five pick. Most of their remaining games are against teams with playoff aspirations. Almost no way they catch anyone other than Minnesota.


We got a pick with the fifth best odds of winning the lotto at worse here and we're third in the east.

Worst Case Scenario: 26th - 8.8% chance at 1st pick - 29.1% chance at top 3 pick

There's a lot of playoff east teams here but also some winnable games. Utah that was weak.
