Like to hear everyone's thoughts on this.  I've seen a lot of people suggest Bradley should be traded, I think he'd be one of the best backup two guards in the NBA, and is still a bargain on his contract.

Your thoughts?

Why do you think Rozier already can take somebody's spot in the NBA

im very curious to hear your answer, and how you come up with something ludicrous like this.

For one thing, we have no idea if Rozier can really play at the NBA level, let alone start.

For another, Thomas and Bradley really can't share the floor much because they're just too dang small.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

And how does this help the team?

In fact It might be the worst starting backcourt in the NBA

I agree that Bradley would be a very good backup, but Rozier has a long way to go before he beats out Bradley.  I doubt it happens next season.

I don't see this happening without a trade.

Neither smart nor rosier are good outside shooter, especially of the 3. Bradley can shoot from outside so he is needed.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Bradley should start. That said, we are way too deep at the guard positions.

Rozier needs to earn his stripes and minutes let alone a starting position. For now, Smart & Bradley will continue to smart with IT coming off the bench. Hunter & Rozier will need to fight for spot minutes along with that disappointment James Young.

many reasons already highlighted but in totality:

AB can shoot the 3

he's a GREAT perimeter defender that can guard 2.5 spots

Rozier has proven NOTHING in the nba

danny loves AB

AB is being paid as a starter (relative to the other people on this team)

i'm hoping AB gets 35 mins a night and shines as a showcase to be traded (but i'm not holding my breath on him either shining or being traded)

in a perfect world, Sullinger and AB get moved at some point during this year for a legit Center/rim protector (Alex Len says hello) that enables the 2 guard spot to be freed up for a rotation of Young/Hunter/Rozier/Smart and forces our current "centers" that are just 4s masquerading as 5s, back to their natural spot of playing the 4 next to a legitimate center

Cause currently Bradley and Thomas r better than smart and rozier
It's a major downgrade for Stevens to put 2 young guys when he already has vets that can play
Coaches r here to win
And young players need to earn their mins

And yet Smart is already a starter, and Thomas already comes off the Bench.

Bradley may prove me wrong, but I think he's limited enough offensively in terms of his handle, passing ability, and ability to drive and finish that he'll be moved to a bench role at some point this season.  I love Bradley as a lockdown defender and kickout option, but I see a lot more in Rozier's overall game.

Well... I think Rozier was the Celtic's most consistent summer league player.  He hit multiple clutch shots and combined with Smart to form the best defensive guard combo in summer league.

But where I really made an intuitive leap is when I looked at Danny's top picks in the last two drafts, noticed they were both guards with complementary skillsets, and thought hmmmm... "I wonder if he might have planned on them playing together."

Your thoughts?
