Does anyone else see RJ Hunter behind the Starters? He's on someone's shoulders in the background.

Very quietly Terry Rozzier has put up impressive numbers from 3-point range. Combined stats from the Utah and Vegas summer leagues:

13-29 on 3-pointers (44.8%)

Obviously a very small sample size. But his shot has looked really good.

He has his some clutch shots too and not just in this game.

I know that I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but imo, Rozier is already better than Smart, and Vonleh is better than both of them.  What a player.  Rozier couldn't get around that guy, and that's saying a lot.  Man I wish that we had him (Vonleh).  Sigh.

No way Rozier is already better than smart. I'll give you that he already has some  moves in his pocket in terms of getting to the rim that Smart does not. Overall though, Smart is still the more well rounded player. I like Vonleh's game, but dont blow it out of proportion. Couldnt even crack the rotation in charlotte, whereas marcus smart was a starter on a playoff team

Nice ending for our young guys out there.  I am slowly coming around with Rozier.  He was clutch at the end of the game and just willed us to the victory.  More than anything that desire to take the big shot and make something happen is a big step in the right direction.  But like anything else we see right now, it is still summer league.

RJ seems to show more every game.  Had some great passes tonight and was very engaged on D.  Terry and RJ seem to have their heads in the game, and are strong and smart enough to at least get rotation minutes if our overload of guards can be thinned out.  But I am not sure it will be.  With Avery, Smart and IT and ET all getting time at guard I don't know how many minutes Terry and RJ are going to get.  After seeing the potential in summer league it would be nice to see RJ and Terry get minutes next year and not be shipped off to maine or the end of the bench.

Is this the winning lineup for us in the Summer League?

Rozier
Hunter
O'neale
Holmes
Mickey

Those guys have been impressive in this outing, the entire outing to be quite honest.

Yes I agree 100%.  That has been our best lineup minus smart.  A really fun group to watch.

I hope Marcus Smart is okay and ready for the regular season. It sounded like a freak injury hearing him scream in pain...  :( :( :(

Is it safe to sit him out for the rest of summer league?
