[dang]it, I told you there was no need to keep playing Smart, unnecessary risk!

I was thinking that too. Celtics just have bad luck, lately.
Agreed.

  • GOT IT!!!

@Marc_DAmico

Marcus Smart just went down and was screaming as he was taken off the court. It looks like a dislocation that they're trying to pop back in.

Grrrr

Best case scenario: Dislocated finger.

Worst case: Broken wrist.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:

I thought it was below the belt pain... Could have been both that and the wrist tho.

After the first game or two in which Smart played it was clear as day that Smart had nothing to gain to keep playing in the Summer League, particularly with how hard he plays. This just sucks. He didn't need these reps, could've been avoided. Hope it's nothing serious, but the way he was screaming has me quite concerned.

Uh oh.

If there's one, and I mean literally ONE thing that couldn't happen during this summer league, it was Smart obtaining some kind of injury.

I guess if there's one silver lining is that if it is a broken hand or wrist, the season doesn't start for another 3 and a half months.

We just have to hope and pray that it's the type of injury where the recovery time is 2-3 months and not 6.
