Watched tape of guys from last year after thinking about how our roster may shake up this year and got jazzed enough to start a corny, light-hearted thread. I included what I thought may be the most popular players among CsBloggers, but add someone else if you like the wildcard or Red Clawer.

In a close-decision, I'm goin Jae, for a few reasons: a) elite physical and mental toughness, plays with grit that is becoming our team's persona, b) number 99, c) yells "Ayyy" when he finishes hard at the rim, d) underrated court vision and passing, e) propensity to make big plays and get everybody jacked up, f) nickname "The Beast."

If you're feeling equally corny and excited, feel free to share the reason(s) for your favorite player on the roster. Will be interesting to see who the fan favorite is - I'm guessing Smart, seems to be winning over a lot of us lately.

IT4 hands down, Mr. 4th quarter. Also has another 3 of them to back it up. His pick and roll game is crazy, gonna be magic with AJ and Lee.

Agree, man. He is a close second for me, tied with Smart. He and Lee could be so damaging in PnR. Hoping they play together quite a bit.

I think this sig you made may be the factor that pushed Jae over the top for me :)

Our team has such good chemistry, it's just fun to watch them play with each other.

Definitely. Hope Smart makes a big leap forward this year, always liked Lee, and Amir seems like he has that toughness that'll make him fit in right away. Fan favorite in Toronto.

TERRY ROZIER

I like it. His pairing with Smart has been the highlight of SL for me.

Hard to pick one. If Smart maintains his aggressiveness from SL, then Smart. IT is an explosive scorer and is awesome to watch. Jae is so tenacious and comes through in the clutch; that game winner against Toronto was probably the best Celtics play of the year. When Turner is on, he can be really awesome, and I'm not even a fan of Evan. I just love watching almost everyone on this team. However, as high as some of these guys' highs are, most of them have really bad lows: IT and ET in the playoffs putting up numbers but performing poorly. Jae is probably the only one who I've never been really frustrated with while watching the Cs. So it's probably a draw for me between Jae and Marcus. Terry could definitely be up there if he keeps up his style of play.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Last year it was definitely IT.  This year, he's still in the lead, but Marcus is moving up rapidly on the outside and could pass him down the stretch.

I love the exuberance of Jerebko. Every time he's out there he looks like he's having the time of his life and enjoying his teammates so much. He looks excited just to run the floor. Crowder's scrappiness is nice too. I really think the two of them turned the C's season around with their positive energy. (To go along with IT's skill.) IT's off the-the-court enthusiasm for the team is refreshing, too.

Crowder is my favorite too. He never stops hustling, never stops thinking.

I went with other just because I don't have a favorite right now for the first time that I can remember.  Right now I just enjoy when anyone on the team is playing well and puts in the extra hustle. Smart is growing on me, I'm not really an IT guy but of course love when he's on his game. Wanted KO to be my new guy but he hasn't been able to get there. I also have a Young fantasy that's not looking good either hahaha. I'll have to admit that Rozier could be that guy even though I hated the pick at the time.
