Holmes can flat out ball. Hits open 3s, rebounds (good nose for the ball), makes easy passes, finishes at rim, has a turnaround, showed he can guard on the perimeter some, and doesn't do stupid stuff (highly coveted trait in this game).

Smart shoud've gotten to the line a few times.  Refs have been pretty all over the place, both ways.  Letting people get hacked on drives left and right.  That one Smart almost spun in and Mickey had the putback for example was a big time foul.

I like him too.  Maybe we can make room but I expect someone else to pick him up.

Smart still needs to work on his drives and finding better angles or knowing where to pull short from.

I wouldn't sit him any of these summer league games. Let him work on his game.

Nice recovery after a few mistakes. Pull up js for 2. Up 7 with 24 seconds. Mickey's got a double double.

a tad bit sloppy towards the end, but I like how Rozier and Smart took care of business on both the defensive end and offensive end

I wouldn't sit him either. This group needs vet leadership. 9 point win.

Agreed with both of you.  This is his chance to totally run a team too and see the ball a lot.

I think he has been doing a good job of being the PG and running the offense.  Felt like tonight he set guys up really well and they missed the shots.

I'm really liking Hunter.  Lanky, can stroke it, and always seems to get in hand in somewhere and disrupt things.

One thing I can't understand is why in the world we keep having Fair and Mickey set the high picks and pop at the three point line.  Either get another guard out there to do it, set the pick lower and roll to the hoop, or set the pick lower and pop somewhere Mickey and Fair can hit a jumper.  We keep doing the same play over and over with Fair and quite frankly, he stinks.

Well I think it's a lot more about the guards running what they will actually run in season instead of whatever Fair can do.  They don't care about him or developing him, they want to develop Smart and Rozier.

In season with the bigs we have those screens will make a lot more sense.   Smart was doing a really great job running them I thought.

That might be true for Olynyk and Sully, but not Amir and Lee.  Either way, it is just clogging up the paint on picks for our guards because Fair's man just sits back in the lane.

Lee can shoot and Amir is better rolling to the rim than anyone else on the team probably except maybe Zeller.  The play will be way more effective and the guards are running it the right way and practicing.

The game doesn't mean much.  Makes and misses don't matter.  I was encouraged seeing how well Smart ran the play.  He was almost always making the right decision.  Even if the big getting the ball isn't knock down they can do better than Fair and the play was run the right way.

Stevens just runs a lot of high pick and roll.  Did last year and will this year too.
