And right on cue, Portis follows it up with quite a dud.

Lakers just got destroyed in the 1st quarter by the Knicks, 19-5.

Randle, 0-4 with and got blocked in 3 of those attempts.

  • GOT IT!!!
I feel vindicated watching Randle to be honest. Dude is just too limited. He won't be a terrible player by any means but his ceiling isn't that high.

Randle has bust written on all over him. His game is over powering guys in the paint but he's not big or athletic enough to do it on the nba level.

TP.  I've been saying that for the past year and a half.  His go to move in the paint is easy to block so I'm not surprised he's been blocked 3 times so far.

Russell got severaly outplayed by Jerian Grant. Russell had eight (EIGHT!) turn overs, four of which were steals by Grant.

What have we got to say about Robert Upshaw now? I told you so, I told you...

He's got potential worth risking, and you're seeing it tonight.

Oh god dude. It doesn't matter that he has potential. Stevens doesn't care, he didn't want him on his team. Why don't Celtics fans get this?

Yep. Both Russell and Randle are showing signs of being busts imo. Porzingis and Grant look promising however.

but, but, but, that can't be!!  there's too many people here who think that Russell and Randle were enough of a package to get Cousins while our outplaying-the-league Smart and picks wouldn't draw enough interest to get a future second round pick! [/sarcasm]

I like it when J.Okafor gets those touches on the elbow. Dangerous from there with his ball-handling and footwork. Needs to get that short shot in working order. Even without it though, it's good to see him touch the ball in some other spots than the direct post ups. Too predictable. Needs that diversity to keep defenders on their toes.

1.4 seconds on the clock, Lakers down by two.

Russell inbounds to Julius Randle ~30 feet from the basket. Wut.

How was Randle? I saw that he got a 17 and 4 stat line.
