Not sure of the source, but all the other news on the page seems correct

Also says Monroe will still meet with us this week. Still an option for Harris and Monroe?

It was never an option for both.  We don't have that much cap space.

Even if we sign him it will be hard to get excited about it... Orlando can match any offer.

Can we work out a sign and trade with orlando if they truly don't intend to keep Harris?  Can we call Orlando and make that happen?  Give them Avery Bradley, Wallace and a 1st

I'm starting to think that Orlando will not match a max offer.  They drafted Hezonja and Gordon the past two seasons.  Additionally they are rumored to have offered Milsap the max, so I have a strong feeling they will let Harris walk, I don't know why they would do a sign and trade though.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

Cap space can be manufactured if we need it.

Using a first to trade away Wallace should open up enough salary room for both.

Going with what we have here and assuming that we send an offer sheet to Tobias Harris, Orlando can tie-up our cap for about 3 days then eventually match which could be bad for us considering that we will be unable to tender other offer sheets to other free agents in the market. Based on this, the more viable option is by way of trade as it also provides the team an avenue to exchange some of our players that are redundant...

Well if we sign+traded Harris into the Rondo TE, then he wouldn't affect the cap.
We'd have to renounce all cap holds though I believe to do so.
So theoretically we could actually sign three max free agents if we used Rondo TE and moved Wallace and if Harris is one of them lol.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

So if we sign Harris, do we still go after Crowder?

How would that work.

You cant sign people then use the Rondo TE and if you use the Rondo TE, then renounce the holds and sign other people it would be as if you never used the Rondo TE. If you trade Wallace, Bradley, Turner, KO you have like 46 million I believe which would allow us to sign Harris to 14 mill and then 2 0-6 year max guys. Thats the only way I can imagine it working

Though if they match Milsap will they have enough to pry Harris from Orlando?

Ive basically given up on Love and Im close to giving up on Monroe. Our off season is basically riding on our ability to sign this guy.

Middleton got 14 mil. I think Harris should be around there.

That being said, I assume/hope danny is cooking something up that none of us see coming.

That's not saying much for our offseason, if that's all we end up doing. He's a pretty good young player, but he won't move the needle much, as the kids say. But getting him would be a step in the right direction, so I'll take it.
