No big names who cares

Look we all thought we had a shot at Love or Aldridge or Gasol. Point being none of them are walking through that door. Whats wrong with building a team from the ground up Golden State did it. Yes it took them 6 or 7 years. Look it takes time to build a winner. You have to have the right pieces in place. So if it takes a few more years let it be. Why give bad contracts to Amir Johnson type players. Build with the pieces we have. When the time is right it will happen.

This is what i want anyways.  I dont think it will take 6 or 7 years either. We've been building all along. I think we will make some noise this year.

Building a team from the ground up like Golden State would require picking in the top 10 multiple times.

Unless Danny tears the roster down at least a bit, that doesn't look like it's in the cards.

I agree it does and we all know this team well over played what everybody thought they would do. If i was to tell you we would be better without Green and Rondo you would think I was high! Point is we need to keep adding pieces every year and within a few years we will be contenders again!

God I hate posts like this!!

Just because you are naively willing to wait 6-7 years for the Celts to become good, it doesn't mean everyone else should!

I will certainly not waste my time and wait that long.

And you say build with the pieces we have?

What pieces?

Are you paying attention??!

We have no pieces other than maybe Marcus Smart.

If we did, then big name free agents would actually start giving us the time of day

So pretty much what your saying is your not a true fan at all. Even if this team sucks you still support it. True fans stick with this team. Did you just jump back on the bandwagon back in 07-08 when we got KG and Allen? Do you remember the Ml Carr Era? Sorry man Rome wasn't built in one night.

I think we have 2-3 more years of being in the lotto. Ange may just dismantle the teams veterans and sign younger/promising guys to value contracts.

I don't care about being good again, I want to win the championship...multiple times.
