One thing I take away from this draft is this: We will more than likely have four first round picks next year. Four.

Minnesota's pick is top 12 protected but I tend to think when looking at their roster that they will make enough of a leap forward to end up with a pick late in lottery (13 or 14) or around 15 to 17.

We Have Dallas' pick. Top 7 protected. There is a decent chance they slide next year Could easily be a ten to 17.

The Nets pick. Unprotected. Who knows what they will be like. My guess is they end up being between 10 and 15 like last year.

Our pick. Who knows, it depends on so many factors.

My thought is that we certainly wil manage to get a great player one way or another from all those picks. Either by packaging and trading or one will be a great pick. Say the Dallas pick ends up at 9 or the Nets pick becomes top 5 because they totally fall apart.

Point is, we are not going to win a title in 2016 in any case and we should have massive options in the upcoming draft. Even more than this year. Along with salary cap space.

Buck up campers.

Hmm, Danny will probably keep all four picks and take 3 "combo" guards and 1 undersized PF.  ;D

Agreed.

I can see the Nets next year, dropping us close to at least 10-15th pick. I can't see them making the playoffs, and probably trying to be competitive enough to not tank 100%.

Dallas/Minnesota are all toss ups. But Dallas may or may not get a free agent, and they look like they could.

Overall, we could have a few picks meddling around late to early first round lottery picks.

Indeed, I am just so excited to do last night all over again next year with another handful of picks in the mid-to-late 1st round and early second.

Look, if they go ahead and sign Tobias Harris or Greg Monroe (or both) in free agency, it'll feel a lot better.

What's bumming me about the team these days is they don't have a center.  I don't mean the position, though that's a problem.  I mean that this roster is like a jellyfish.  Interesting, even beautiful, things going on in the periphery, but there's nothing at the core of it.  Just reactive nerves.

This team will have no identity until they put together some players with the kind of talent and presence that demands attention and provides a framework for future success.  Until then, it's just a collection of "assets," and none of those assets, to this point, appears to be all that enticing to potential trade partners.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I wonder if Golden State would part ways with Ezeli.
