Listen, guys i know you're upset we didn't trade our entire roster away for some star who would, by himself, carry us to banner number 18. But developing, and understanding that the NBA game is a dynamic beast that takes savvy and there are 30 other GMs out there trying to build their own dynasties is to be taken seriously. First off, we have a really good thing going. We don't need to blow our load over the hopes that we can get some guy who might be the next big thing. Demarcus isn't walking through that door without decimating our roster and assets. Neither is any other star, get over it. What do we have? The same roster that was second best in the, very weak, eastern conference. But the silver lining, the guys are young. With a young coach. Everyone, especially lar33 or whatever his name is, complains about star power, which is obnoxious. Im not sure he has a rational bone in his being. But thats not the point. You build from the ground up. If you're a fan, you trust, and its funny because we have pretty good reason to trust. We, as a fan base, are remarkably lucky, yes I'm guilty of lusting over the prospect of drafting WCS, but we didn't get him. So what does that mean? What do you think Brad is doing right now? He is going to work. At this point we are a blue collar team with a blue collar fan base. We don't need morons wearing sparkling shoes. We need guys who are concerned with winning. Sex sells, it doesnt win basketball games. Get over your ego, move on, be stoked about James Young, Marcus Smart, KO, and the rest. Hopefully we can bring in a defensive big man. But if we can't we are still in a great spot to be a great team moving forward. But seriously stop whining that you didn't land Kate Upton, theres a family out there waiting for you.

Can the people that liked our draft stop being so condescending?

No one here is asking to get the next best thing. What we upset guys are saying is drafting Rozier at #16 doesn't make a ton of sense.

Can we not be upset as fans when clearly the Celtics are in position to do something better than drafting Rozier at #16 but we ended up here? We could have moved up, or moved down and draft him while getting another asset. We could have traded some of our guards to make the selection sensible. We could have swung on high potential but with red flag guys like Upshaw and Wood, or take a position of need like a SF at #45, instead we drafted another PG.

You said build from the ground up. Sure, but not with questionable drafting decisions like this. We have the ammo to overpay and move up to #9 and get Winslow but we balked. We had the chance to atleast grab players could contribute right away in Dekker, Portis, RHJ but we took a guy who's a projected late 1st to early 2nd round pick, who, if we don't trade any of our guards, may not get any playing time to develop. Not to mention that he's questionable offensively, and he's not even the best PG available on the board when we took him.

Were nor upset because we didn't get an all star or a good potential player in this draft in one fell swoop. Were upset because not only did it look lime we didn't even try, it also looked like we made wrong decisions.

Forza Juve is right. Stop being condenscending. This was a horrible night for us. We had all ammunition to make the night worthwhile and we didn't even use them. Add to that, a questionable draft selection. Everyone is rooting for us to get better, but it's hard to do so when moves like these are being made.

Hopefully you guys are right and we are wrong. But at face value, this is a disastrous start of a new year.

Its not questionable to our GM who thankfully you are not. He chose the BPA like every great GM ever says to do. Its not condescending you just can't take not having your way.

How is Rozier BPA? And he doesn't address a need either because he plays the exact same position as our 2 best players in Smart and IT. Are we trying to be the Jonny Flynn TWolves?

Most Celtics fans and neutrals seem to think it was a bad draft for us.

Exactly. He was not BPA and din't address a need so the pick makes no sense.

Rozier is not even the best PG prospect available at the time!

Are you high?

You can't know that for sure. So asking me if I'm high in order to undermine me is completely ridiculous.

If he's that good then why do draft experts have him going late 1st?

Also, we don't have to be NBA GM's to know that this lick does n it make sense. We just picked a guard like Rozier last year, in the lottery. We acquires another guard who's probably our best scorer. We just signed one on an extension. Where does Rozier fir in? Who do you cut minutes from so he can play? Or who do you trade to open up a slot for him?

A lot of scouts seems to agree with me, otherwise he would have been mocked higher than Grant, Wright or Tyus Jones.

Just stop. As it stands this is a horrible pick. And as a fan, it's hard to be optimistic in the upcoming season when ykubstart of the year like this. This is why we are upset.

You mean the same draft experts who had WCS dropping into the late teens/ low twenties?
