This is the rare situation under the new rules where a sign-n-trade might happen.  If Butler tells the Bulls "I will sign my qualifying offer and then walk," the Bulls might be willing to ship Butler out.  Since he's apparently looking for a short-term deal, the max contract differences between teams don't factor in.

What would you be willing to give up for Butler on a 2 year deal?

Mike
AB and the Dallas first. Might not be that bad of a deal for Bulls. Rose on D can guard the lesser guards AB takes toughest matchup. McBuckets takes over the SF spot.

AB and the Dallas pick would be terrible value for an All Star SF that's a RFA.  The Bulls have already said they will match any offer, Come on now...
