It is a little disappointing from both the media side and his side that it has gotten to the point that he is commenting on this after every single game. This was asked and answered 3 days ago, so why would a reporter bother asking him now?

It is possible he is a 100% serious, plans on being in Cleveland next season and there is 0% chance anything happens.

There is also a reasonable chance that with the position he is in he really can't say anything else besides I plan being back in Cleveland because it would make him kind of a bad teammate and person. It would be a huge needless distraction for him to say he plans on leaving in the middle of the finals and would make him look bad. Maybe, I'm wrong, but I would have been shocked if in the middle of the second round series when the grizzlies were up 2-1, if someone asked Gasol the same questions he would have responded in the exact same way.

All in all, this all means nothing and is probably a bit of a waste of all of our time to try and attach all this meaning to what amounts to political talk that is completely meaninglesss.

Again, what else is he supposed to say right now? His team is in the freaking NBA Finals; he'd have to be a real **** to come out and say "I'm definitely going to hear everyone out this summer," which we all know he will.

And like SHAQATTACK said above, I don't know what game he was watching. If he wants to turn into a James Jones-type spot-up three point shooter, then Cleveland is his best bet. But from everything I saw last night, it was the Lebron and Kyrie show, and everyone else was just a pawn. And that's how it's been ALL YEAR LONG. I'm sure winning is important to him, but you have to think he wants to be a bigger part of it than that, too.

If he returns there I'm not going to sweat it one bit. That extra money that will be available im two years may mean he just opts in. This is the series he would truly be missed and it's already showing.

And if he said "No comment" everybody would just freak out! "KEVIN LOVE IS OPTING OUT! HE HATES LEBRON!"

The odds are that Love will stay in Cleveland.  The only question is are those odds 80-20 or 55-45?

This isn't just idiot fans making something out of nothing.  There are legitimate signs that Love is not thrilled to death at the prospect of spending the next several years playing third fiddle to LeBron and Kyrie.

Will they pay him or Thompson is their big question.   That kid can rebound too.

That's the best point........does Love want to spend the BEST  years of his career sighed away in a place he probably hates being,  with a Diva James ....always his team first .....doing what James wants ......and being THIRD in the pecking order ?

I not a Love fan ,  but I bet by now ,  he is sorry as heck he ever got talked into that deal . Wasted year .

I know if I were in his shoes .....I want out .

I believe that Love will opt-in to play with the Cavs next year and make superbucks and have all the options after that.

Why wouldn't they pay both?
NBA teams win by stockpiling talent, not by arbitrarily choosing one player to pay instead of another when they don't have to.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I don't think it's in his career's best interest to play 3rd fiddle anywhere but if he wants to win I'm not going to fault the guy. That's ultimately the goal anyway.
