Would it be possible to trade up for Justise Winslow and Willie Cauley-Stein?

What do you think would be a possible combination of packages?

If we could pull it off, we could have our rebuild right there.

I think that's putting way too much stock into unproven rookies that haven't played an NBA game yet.

No, we'd probably be lucky to trade up for just one of those guys.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Yeah, I'm not sure the fans could stomach what it would take to just get one of those guys.  Late first round picks just ain't doing it.

Smart for one of them
Bradley, one of our young bigs, #16, and an aditional Pick (most likely from Brooklyn) for the other one.

I would not do either of the trades I guess.

If you are OK with giving up Smart its pretty doable

Smart for Winslow
AB for 12 then 12+16 plus whatever else for WCS

if not its pretty impossible
AB for 12 then 12 + Sully + 16 for 6 if Winslow is there
then hope WCS falls to 10 then give them KO + 33 + Brooklyn

I think it's possible, but it would be a bit of a circular move if we have to trade something like Smart, Bradley and several picks to get there.

The only scenario that theoretically makes sense to me would be to go "all in" on this draft using future picks, with the idea that we're going to go after free agents the next 2 summers. For example say we need picks 6 and 8:

#16, #28, #33 + Dallas 2016 for #8
own 2016, Brooklyn 2016, Brooklyn 2018, Memphis 2018 for #6

At that point we would have Winslow and WCS and all our current players, but cleared 7 draft picks from our stash. We'd have to build either through free agency or trading young players (which is a little less flexible than picks).

Smart / Thomas
Bradley / Young
Winslow / Crowder / Turner
WCS / Sully
Zeller / KO

Something like that...

I would do whatever it took! Without trading Smart, Crowder and Bradley.
