GS are getting beaten up. I don't like the body language I'm seeing from Curry.

Cavs defense is in Curry's (and the starters') heads.

My frustration with this tempo is how the Cavs are allowed to play more physical but when the Warriors body up its a foul. Klay Thompson had Delly trapped and was playing aggressive defense but got whistled. It could be the LeBron effect but it's frustrating watching Curry being held off ball the entire time.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Curry is really disappointing as the MVP.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Either Matt Delly, JR. Smith, Tristan Thompson, and Timmy Mozgov have turned into all-world defenders, or the Warriors are having a really bad series of games.  Games they only have any chance to win because the Cavs are suffering more injuries than a nursing home.

So far, a very strange and mystifying series.

The NBA Finals, the pinnacle of pro basketball, has morphed into the NCAA tourney.

I'd think about benching Barnes for good this game.  Or at least keeping him on a really tight leash to start the 3rd.

Yeah, missing a layup when you're already 0-for-5 doesn't inspire confidence.

Lol.  Bag it up.  Finals over.  James jones hittin buzzer beaters? Lol

If GS doesn't adjust, then yes, this will end in 5.

Yup.  Let's leave James Jones open for 3.  Again.

F'ing stupid.

You mean you don't see the genius in putting Ezeli on Jones?  ;D

So, that is now 2.5 games of the Cavs imposing their will on the game and controlling the tempo. But the Cavs stand no chance.

The Warriors are playing like a team that isn't ready for the NBA finals stage, which is crazy considering they won 67 games and were virtually the best team from start to finish this season.

Because of that though, it's easy to forget that this is still a team with a pretty young core.  The Cavs are making them look mentally weak.  It's almost like that once Irving went down, they felt this series would be a breeze...and then once they got defensively shut down in game 2, it caught them completely off guard and now they don't know what to do.

They're starting to feel the pressure from the VAST majority of people picking a sweep or a 5-game series win after Irving went down.

Going back to that regular season game in Cleveland .  Bron and the Cavs trounced Curry and the Warriors like a D league team.......worser whipping than the the Celtics got .

Curry was sulking ,  acting very weird during that game as his butt was being beat good.

I think....he is still traumatized by that complete beat down.

Either Curry steps up and scores 35 a game ....like he has to......or they will get beat

I think the Cavs know ....stop Curry ........and his three bombing ......you defeat them .

I don't know why but I still think GSW win this game. They are playing great D, their offense is just trash right now. I feel like Klay is going to have a good 2nd half, and Draymond and Iggy will continue to bring the intensity.

It's cliche, but I think it's a little bit of everything.  Tristan Thompson has almost by himself turned Cleveland into a defensive juggernaut.  Statistically they've been the best defensive team in the playoffs so it's not like this is out of nowhere.  But having said that, I also think it's just horrendously bad timing for Curry and Green to get into real shooting slumps.

I honestly don't want to take anything away from Cleveland, but I have to say that the Warriors have totally crapped the bed. I mean, when the league's No. 1 defense lets middling role players wipe the floor with them, and the league's No. 1 offense shoots like a team full of Perkins and Rondos, there's more going on than just Cleveland playing good D.

Either Matt Delly, JR. Smith, Tristan Thompson, and Timmy Mozgov have turned into all-world defenders, or the Warriors are having a really bad series of games.

Their defensive rotations have largely been stellar. There was a play earlier when Delly got caught on a screen and Curry flashed to the left corner for a wide open 3... or rather what should have been a wide-open 3, if Thompson hadn't switched over to the perimeter. Instead, Curry passed the ball to Ezeli, who was now being guarded by Delly, and missed a bunny.

The Cavs defense has been amazing throughout the playoffs. And we're seeing that for now the third game in a row in the Finals.

Not to discount what mahonedog said above, of course -- it is a bit of everything. But 37 points in the first half is the Warriors' lowest output all season long. Denying that the Cavs defense has anything to do with that at this point after what we've seen in the first two games is just absurdly stupid (not that you are).

I wouldn't be counting out Golden State yet at all. Curry could get going at any moment.

I think they'll have a big 2nd half.
