Rivers is really developing into a nice player.

I've hated on the kid plenty but maybe Ainge should have took a flyer.

Maybe, but I think Doc was probably the only coach in the league who would have given him solid minutes and confidence to play his game after his poor start to his career.

This was my second thought as well but CBS has done a masterful job at maximizing any player added to the roster.

We already had Austin Rivers once, his name was Jordan Crawford.

Also, we put  up with Evan Turner all season, didn't we?

Well his value is looking better than a late second round pick.

The Rockets have created a new playoff shame milestone: "You got owned by the opposing coach's scrub son, AKA future Chinese League MVP"

I think the atmosphere has a lot to do with his play. The way CP3 put him in check when he got there. Can watch some of the best players in the game on a daily basis.

Maybe CBS could have made an impact but few teams can put him on a team with that amount of talent that he can learn from.

Let's not forget that he's been defended by Jet and Harden, that helps. Not saying he isn't playing well, he is (I'm a Duke fan, I know he isn't afraid of big moments), just want to see him in the conference Finals, where both Mem and GSW have some excellent perimeter defenders. Ariza can't do it all himself.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Who was guarding him? James Harden?

This is true lol he's not playing the best defense himself.

Obviously the correct answer is nobody.

The Warriors will mop the floor with any of the other teams left in the playoffs.  That series with the Grizz might be the de facto Finals.

Congrats Harden, bombing away when it doesn't matter. They have been letting JJ REDDICK guard him and they haven't been punished for it LOL. Love Reddick (again Duke) but come on man, #2 in MVP voting isn't abusing him? Hahahaa.

Chris Paul is back.

I really like how LAC battled with Chris Paul out. Hoping this goes well for them today.

I'm curious, are you a Clippers fan? I mean Houston and LAC are two of my three hated teams in the league (joining Cleveland), but I definitely dislike the Clippers much more than Houston.

I guess that sums it up for me too!  LOL......I can't like CP3 and Doc ...no way....LOL

Are you referring to Doc Rivers?  The coach that many accused of never giving rookies playing time and not being capable of developing young players?  IMO, nothing could be harder than coaching your own son, and  managing the effect on the rest of the team.
