I see the Pacers and Cs making the playoffs. Dream match ups for me is Pacers vs Cavs, Cs vs Atlanta.

If pacers meet up with the cavs, I'm telling you, watch out, Cleveland can be up for a rude awakening in the 1st round.
George Hill on Kyrie ( Wash)
CJ on JR. ( Wash)
PG on Lebron( as seen in the past this matchup could be a wash depending on how PG is.)
West n Love( wash)
Hibbert and Mozgov (wash)

Honestly each player would beat each player on the other side of the court, but Pacers team defense is definitely better than the Cavs team D. It would come down to the slightest of margins probably Home-Court and Pacers Bench, but this would be a great matchup.

And then the Cs vs Hawks

We matchup best with Hawks.
Avery on Teague ( wash)
Smart on Korver ( Honestly a wash)
Turner/Crowder on carrol (Wash)
Sully/Bass on Millsap ( wash TBH slight edge to Millsap)

Zeller on Horford ( edge to Horford)

Our bebch is better. It would be a great series.

I'm not saying we can go far in the playoffs, we have obvious limitations and are still early in our rebuild, BUT, I honestly think we can beat Atlanta in a 7 game series. We matchup well with them and have played them very tough this season.

These are crazy comparisons. Sully and Bass are not close to being all stars, Millsap is an all star. Smart is a nice player with a lot of upside, but you can't call him a wash comparing him to a player having one of the greatest shooting seasons in the history of the NBA. The only one that is probably a wash is Turner/Crowder on Carrol. I am not even saying we match up horribly with them considering the record disparity, but that is because of depth and coaching. The starting 5 comparison is in my opinion a little ridiculous.

i mean, they spend at least some of the 48 minutes of a n NBA game standing mostly side by side.

there is a slight chance we might even go as high as 6th seed, we are only 2 games behind Milwaukee

but I agree with the we match up well with ATL. I don't know if we can win though but we should be able to take a game or two.

CLE vs Indiana on the other hand, CLE should win, PG isn't ready for this year's playoff run. He just returned from a gruesome injury, and Irving and George Hill is definitely not a wash. I think PG will continue to see a reduced role even in the playoffs and LeBron will have no problem against them.

Would love that, but they own the tie-breaker against us.  We'd have to go 4-0 or 3-1, with them going 1-3 or 0-4, respectively.  And they have games against the Knicks and Philly coming up.  But how much would I love a few big upsets?

Highly highly underage George Hills defense and just overall game. I'm not saying he's a better player than Irving, but irvings defense is Sub Par, I'm preety sure George Hill would be just fine on offense with Irving on him. Hence its a wash. With Hill and Hibbert Behind, I don't see Kyrie dropping 30 a night, and if so, Pacers would win the series. It would be a show of Innefficient offense.

From the one matchup we had against the Hawks in Boston before the all star break, Smart did a Phenomenal job on Korver and I'm sure he was held under 10 points. Also the Sully/Bass Millsap comparison isn't individually, it's the combination of them would produce same or better than Millsap, let's not get our titties all in a bunch now over Millsap. Again referencing to the matchup before the allstar break, not even just that matchup, all three match ups against ATL this year Sully had a big game or compatible game on millsap go look at the stats of those games.

By no means am I saying our starting 5 is better than ATL's , simply, it's a good matchup. every individual matchup is closer to even than Lopsided.

Now for the Cavs and Pacers matchup, Arguably Indy has a better starting 5 if everyone is 100%. JR smith has been lights out in the regular season for them, but just watch JR smith and Kyrie Irvin's, INeffecient playing style in the playoffs. Cavaliers will be exposed in the post season. They still have Lebron James, which goes a long way, but This same Indy team minus Stephenson took the Heat who at that time were considerably greater than this Cavs team.

maybe the knicks and philly wont rest their starters?  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

How would the Pacers make it all the way up to the 7th seed? Brooklyn and Boston own the tiebreakers with them, and they still have games against Memphis, OKC, Washington, and Detroit, which none of those are exactly easy wins for them.

People keep saying this and it seems , and maybe they will win tonight, but we are ignoring how bad they have looked recently? Lost 7 out of 10, a couple of routs and bad losses mixed in.

They are like the Lakers .....when they need a win in critical situation some how they seem to get it .......They are just a tuff out with their backs to the wall.

Dude even with PG at his best, the Lebron vs PG matchup has never been a wash. Pacers only ever hung with Heat at times due to their size along with Wade and Bosh (esp Bosh) sucking in those series
