I feel like Datome should have lost his minutes from his recent play.

Wow there's a Pressey thinking he's Thomas showing... why is Smart benched?..
he took it to the hoop and got yanked. Maybe Stevens only wants him as a spot up 3 point shooter.

He's been looking good the last month or so driving. But it does seem to give favor to the thinking that Stevens wants him to shoot mainly threes, which is absurd.

He's really looked tentative lately.
and disconnected from not being involved. He pretty much has to break the offensive flow to get his shots. Probably why he's getting pulled.

It's been like that allllll season, too. Stevens has done a hell of a job making us competitive, but he really hasn't set Smart up to succeed offensively.

That's what you get for hiring a guy who believes in shooting many more 3s than free throws.  Screw the coach - go to the hoop, lol. ;D

Is there some requirement that there must be a foul called every minute that I'm not aware of? Geeeezzzzzzeeeeee

My guess was he didnt want to play Smart and Bradley together, so one of them freshly could guard Dragic.

It doesn't help when Pressey and Turner keep looking Smart off.

Neither Pressey nor ET will ever send the ball Smart's way.

I think there's some point guard politics going on.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Does Stevens just wait until we're down by close to 20 points before he actually lets Smart play?

Maybe Smart is a know it all, pain in the ass, unruly player to coach which is why Stevens has appeared to be all over the place in handling Smart when the truth might be that Smart isn't very coachable.

Just a theory.

the refs have killed the natural flow of this game. The C's have suffered from this staggered pace, much more than Miami.
These refs have totally stifled this game.
