Who doesn't want a new, high end stadium? But it's easier said than done. I have never been to Boston so I may not know what I'm talking about, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to consider real estate. Does Boston have enough space to build a new stadium? Does cities close to Boston would do?
Also, financially there are questions. For one, would the ownership be willing to spend half, if not all of their own money to construct a new stadium? For all the things you posted about the Warriors, that stadium is PRIVATELY financed. Does Wyc and the ownership group willing to do that? I won't blame them if they don't, stadiums are a billion dollar project.
I'm all for a new stadium, heck, if someone starts a Kickstarter for it, I'd donate $50. But it's not that easy. So many factors have to be in place first. So unless you figure out a plan on what how we can get one, and I mean a plan, with location, how to finance it etc. Come up with a proposal, a legit one, and submit it to the ownership group, and maybe they'd consider. If you not, then I suggest we call this case closed.
The Warriors stadiums is a great example of sports entertainment innovation. The Celtics should top what their developing.
The new Warriors stadium is a disgrace to the tremendous Oakland fans who suffered through 30 years of total misery.
Eh? It's just across the bridge. It's not like the Niners moving to Santa Clara situation (for those who don't know, SF and Santa Clara is about an hour and 15 minutes drive, if there's no traffic. Oracle to the proposed stadium location is a 30 minute train ride). People from Oakland can just take BART, no biggie.
