I said way before pre-season if we're playing well later in the season, ruining our chances at a better draft pick is fine if it's due to kids playing well...and while they are, it's mainly due to the veterans like Prince and Bass just being out there. and that was exactly what I said I didn't want to see.

Obviously Prince is being shopped and I'm sure if the right offer comes along for Bass that he is gone too. but I just think Danny is sacrificing our pick(the only pick that has a chance at being worth anything) in the process of shopping these guys. I understand we want to maximize the value of what we get in return for Prince, but realistically I think at best we get a very late 1st for him.

but in all this, the team has been fun to watch despite all the trades and the ever changing roster. the wins have been welcomed despite knowing they don't do anything for this team other than give us a worse pick.

this may very well be my least favorite season...and that's saying something.

of course another way to look at things and still retain one's joy in life is to indulge yourself by living in the moment and remove all ability to sense contradictions.

when the celtics lose, i rejoice for the sake of the tank and a brighter future.

when the celtics win, i rejoice for the sake of the moment and having them victorious.

see? mental health and normalcy are really over rated sometimes.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
It's annoying but I'd also write it down to just plain bad luck that both teams were missing their best players and we got lucky on the night.
bass and Prince really aren't enough to swing games but when Lopez and Aldridge are out and Lawson is out their offenses struggle.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Avery Bradley, Marcus Smart, and Jared Sullinger have all had significant impact on the games we've won.

These are the kids who need to continue to develop if Boston had any hope of the future.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.
