Do we really want to spend that much of our cap money for a guy who doesn't project to be a bona fide starting 5 player?
I'm just going to keep disagreeing that this is an accurate description of Bradley.
i dont understand how anyone can come to that conclusion unless they turn a blind eye to every single metric available to measure a players performance. just to name one - his per is 10. the AVERAGE player in the nba has a per of 15. evan turner is on 12. marcus smart is on 12. olynyk is on 16. bass is on 15, which i think is completely accurate for the reliable not so spectacular but steady bass. sully is on 18.
people could say that metrics can mislead, but the reality is it can only do so if you constantly go up against bench players it can raise your per and if you get barely any time on the court it can do the same. if you go up against starters (as avery does) and gets significant minutes throughout the season (averaging 30 mins a game this year) it is fairly accurate.
marcus thornton is on 14, but is only getting 15 mins a game this season and is usually going up against bench players, so his is probably raised and somewhat inaccurate. avery's however is fairly accurate.
the starting shooting guard of the boston celtics is a below average player in the league. if you look into other metrics - they agree and are just as bleak. he belongs on the bench - no and, ifs, or buts.
