Apparently a 3 team deal is in place that would send Brook Lopez to the Thunder, Lance to the Nets and other pieces to the Hornets

I don't know if this would actually happen, but imagine if this does happen

Westbrook
Durant
Ibaka
Brook Lopez
Reggie Jackson
Dion Waiters

that team does look pretty nice on paper.

EDIT: Charlotte just dropped out, so now it's Perk (and pieces) for Lopez

If Lopez is being sold for something as simple as cap relief and a pick, Danny should really try to intervene here and make a deal.

Nah. He isn't very good, injury prone, and doesn't seem to fit in with what we have going on.

Edit: I feel like he would be a pretty decent fit next to Ibaka however.

Seems like a smart deal for both sides.

OKC still has Adams when Lopez goes down. When he is healthy that offense is going to be amazing.

Nets, start digging themselves out of this mess. Perk will come off the books this offseason and Lamb is a nice young SG. For a team with no picks and very little youth its a good start.

BTW, we can't ship any of our new guys in a package (especially Prince) and Thornton can't go back this season.  Those two should be on out dump list otherwise.

if that's all the Nets get for Lopez, the GM should be fired.  he may be injury-prone but when he's on the court he'll make OKC deadly on offense.   at least one 1st rounder should be coughed up by OKC.

Look at what we got for Rondo and then ask yourself if Lopez is worth more. I prefer Lamb to a late 1st myself.

just my honest opinion and I could be wrong by saying this

I think Brook Lopez do deserve a first from OKC. Good centers are harder to find than good guards. As much as I love Rondo, there are tons of good starting guards that are either super stars, all stars or borderline.

Not the same could be said about starting centers. And the ones that are, will not come cheap. Look at the contract DeAndre get, and what I assume Andre Drummond will get once his contract is up.

Neither Lopez or Ibaka are capable passers. No big man passing.

I think ball movement is still going to be a struggle for OKC. Everybody that touches it is going to want to put up a shot. Westbrook and Durant only two good passers in starting lineup and those two guys are two best scorers and two of the highest usage players in league.

I expect it'll be tough to get everyone to buy into roles, play unselfishly and as a team.

I think it is still going to be an one-on-one heavy offense.

Yeah. Just not any ball movers in their rotation.

Waiters, Roberson, Ibaka, Lopez, Morrow, Collison, Adams is their rotation? Is Collison the best passer of the bunch?

Even Durant/Westbrook hold the ball, but that's what you want them to do as they're your playmakers....
