there is not a player either good enough or experienced enough that isn't on trading block-could wallace, while waiting out his contract as almost a player/coach  after bass, nelson, thornton are gone.It would be nice to have one "go to" talented player that they could rely on.Marcus and crowder defensively but i mean -i want the ball and can make it happen and does.We need a real point guard as badly as a rim protector.

Right now I think Turner and Sully could be the leaders. I've seen KO bark out orders a few times.

But I think Smart will end up being the leader once he learns the game better. He's been that guy threw high school and college. He just needs the confidence and knowledge to earn the respect of the others. They've said that was one of the things that has stood out since he got here. Now it's time for him to embrace the roll.

They'll all lead us to a top 5 draft pick.

sketch--unfortunately he is very inexperienced with losing and young. His real talent is d,i'm sure sullinger was a main man, turner, crowder.Thats what i mean there are no celtics on this squad and i'm not used to that.Even the coach is just a college coach ,quess they will grow into celtics.

It has got to be Smart as things stand now with an outside chance to Crowder. Impossible to say what the future will bring. Danny may have to sign a FA leader next season unless he lands one in the draft. The major parts of the rebuild as it is progressing will take two more drafts/off seasons most likely so we may remain somewhat rudderless.

This season it really doesn't matter since it is all about the tank and player development.  Hopefully one of the young players has stepped into the leadership role by the end of the season.  If not next season you'll want to bring in some veteran leadership.  If KG is really interested in a position with the C's after his retirement, you might bring him in as a player/coach next year.

agreed. in a year or two smart will position himself as the leader i think. in terms of his focus and drive he makes me think of a "short KG." marcus cares a lot about winning and does so every night.

the celtics could most certainly do worse.

I hope so. It seems like the team is starting to form an identity with players like Smart and Crowder adding some toughness to this team.

Can I be your agent? All players need a good agent.

Brad Stevens.

I think some of the young guys that really bust their asses (in particular Crowder and Smart) will lead by example.

On a serious note...Marcus Smart has leader written all over him, it may take a few years for him to grow into the position.

they could sign me - I'm a much older than I look as I was able to avoid workin very sucessfully

I might settle for vet min & I can dive for balls as good as anyone on the team

I'm very intelligent, opportunistic, have high moral standarts, i'm straight forward when I talk with ppl, and in my former job as an consultant I have some expierence in guiding, leading and teaching

ohh and I can dance better than all the Celtics & their cheerleaders combined

so I see myself as the perfect fit, everyone should & not just to be awestruck seeing me dance everytime a timeout is beeing called

as I don't have a manager I rely on you ppl to get me Ainges attention and as Celtics fans its in your intrest to do that - I might not be able to make team a contender overnight but I will able to make you enjoy watching Celtics games.
