I think american players are more skilled. Many good american players who weren't drafted or didn't last in the league go to Europe and dominate. Not based on athleticism but on skill and ability. Not an insult to European players like Pau , Marc Gasol, Dirk etc who are very skilled players

ehhh....they don't exactly 'dominate'. Virtually all of them are role players or get kicked out of the leagues for poor attitudes.

Well all of the overseas players that I've known were fairly unathletic but led their teams in scoring. One of my AAU coaches led 3 different leagues in scoring

Those were the old days, 20-30 years ago that would be the case, not true anymore.

Just one example, our own big man Colton Iverson's stats for his Spanish team Laboral Kutxa:

7.5 points per game, 6.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists. Not so 'dominating'

right on, Kobe.  Too much me ball, hero ball, as Doc calls it.  Real dig at how bigs are trying to play like guards, and have no clue how to post.  Also a function of the 3 point line, however.  Make a 3 point shot worth 2.5, that would make it less likely to shoot from that distance.

Obviously not every American player is going to dominate
