They're not Celtics, but I'm glad Cousins and the Brow seem to be listed first on the ballot.  That should help them each get a nod, very deserving players this year (even if their teams aren't that great).

Green and maybe Rondo deserve a look, but I doubt either one will end up selected unless there are some other injuries around.

If we're judging seasons up to this point, this is what I'm thinking in the all-star game:

G
Kyrie
Wall

F
LeBron
Carmelo
Bosh

G
Lowry
Rondo
DeRozan

F
Butler
Love
Milsap
Pau (or maybe Rose for CHI, or maybe Big Al, or maybe Wade, or maybe Deron)

Obviously this is subject to change at any moment.

Edit:  Also, injury is going to wipe out a couple of these guys.

Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Honestly, I don't think so, but it's been an arbitrary title ever since fan voting became the prime selection process. However, I think Rondo will be voted an all star because, believe it or not, he's actually pretty well-regarded around the league.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Ahead of Lowry and Wall?

And, any chance Cleveland swings a trade now for Rondo?

ITT: Nondo vs. Rondo with some Green sprinkled on top.

Soon to be a Yes-I-(Ron)-Do vs. Ron-don't thread.

Hopefully Rondo

I'm a Rondo fan, but anyone shooting below 40% from the field and the ft line on a losing team does not deserve to be an all-star

No.  Honestly, the all-star roster size could double, and I still don't think we'd have anybody deserving this year.

Well, we can't really wish a real injury on him.
