Who are some players you see starting to show their potential that we could steal?

I certainly would love Ben Maclemore, Jimmy Butler, Greg Monroe or (if Milwaukee is stupid enough) Giannis.

We obviously want young guys, so who do you guys think we could get as cornerstones?

Specify Trade or offseason signing please!

I wouldn't mind picking up Barnes or Draymond Green from GSW if we can send Rondo to a team that has young talent to reroute to GSW.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

I don't think we have a shot at Butler anymore since his stock is way up. Ainge would have to do an amazing sell job and we'd definitely need to at least match the highest bid out there since our team isn't really a contender. You're also competing with bad teams like the Knicks and Lakers that have plenty of cap space and more exciting markets.

It's hard for me to get excited about Monroe. We need a big man who can protect the rim.

Honestly, I follow Monroe stat wise but barely watch him play. In my eyes altering shots is just as good as blocking them (Verajao style). Is Greg really that much of a burden on Defense? or is Drummond masking him?

I'm starting to wonder if offering to overpay Robin Lopez near-max money would make the Trail Blazers hesitate.  On the other hand, it sounds like Lopez might be the sort to take below market value to stay in Portland.

Kosta Koufos - rumors swirling
Ed Davis - end of the bench garbage man.  See what he commands in FA.
Donald Sloan - I like his game and I feel like we're one playmaker short.
PJ Hairston - love his effort, needs a little more restraint on offense, but he's gonna be a player and might be available
TJ Warren - My favorite player in this past draft, maybe they'd part with him to get better now?  Salaries would be a problem.
Gorgui Dieng - Team options thru 2018. Doubt they'd part with him.
Tony Wroten - again, fills a playmaker / slasher role we're short on.  Might be viewed as expendable.
Terrence Jones - pipe dream
Isiah Thomas - been a stud this year, not sure why PHO would deal him, but their roster does have some weird balance.
