I have really loved Stevens all year but how is he seriously putting Wallace, Pressey, Turner out there vs a zone???

I'm seriously yelling at my TV.  It's ridiculous.
His one flaw is liking the bench players too much. It's their turn in the rotation. Maybe if we had a better bench this wouldn't happen.

  • You say when......
I had my guys "load" the zone......two on the baseline, on on the block, one a bit further out....one at the three, one down the middle...another in the opposite corner....it can break the zone...!

having pressey and turner out on the same time should be avoided.  Both guys are not reliable shooters.  Fault is on BS for putting out the pair

Hopefully just an early season experiment by Stevens.

It's no experiment. He's catering to his veterans. I call it  " The Doc Rivers" move.

stop giving Phil pressey minutes. I don't want him taking another jump shot for the rest of the year

No, what's ridiculous is that we're being flummoxed by a zone.  Ugh.  This style of defense is all they play in college - come on, Stevens.  Zones are fun - you can move wherever you want completely uncontested, and if you miss, zones give up offensive rebounds.  Just have guys cutting to the hoop - the defense won't do anything until the guy has the ball.  I mean, have we suddenly turned into the 2009-10 Lakers, lol?  Now that was hilariously pathetic, seeing a Phil Jackson-coached team become completely and utterly confused by a zone from the Suns during MULTIPLE PLAYOFF GAMES ;D.  Ahaha ;D.

Also, I hope that by the end of this game we aren't saying that it was all about that bassy ;) ;D.

We have a user who tag is named KeepRondo to play or put Rondo in; to a user that has vied for the dismissal of Rondo ever since the beginning of time lol. (Or after the Big 3 ended.)

Just found it funny for some reason.

He's not even doing that because Rondo was out and he stays out.
