I was talking to a buddy of mine about the Cs during the pre-season. I told him I thought we had a chance to be phoenix east this year. He's a mavs fan and as a result saw a lot of the Suns last year as they battled his team for the 8th seed.

He said he saw some similarities and as a result we thought we could make the 8th seed and compete for a division title. We both agreed the C's likely are a first round exit.

After the Brooklyn game I felt validated. Houston game I slowed down a bit lol. But these last few games got me saying phoenix east again.

The collection of skill sets on this team reminds me of Phoenix as does our style of play. I hope we do like Phoenix last year and not move any future assets to try and win now. ( I'm looking at you javale mcgee ) Personally I like the sully and KO starting combo for this year.

We are certainly a fun team to watch this year, playoffs or not.  I would prefer that we at least hold on to our rotation players unless something completely drops in our lap as well.

What are you talking about.  Those teams have losing records at this point.   "Come on Man"

at 500 today is more looking like the potential to be the Suns of last year.   I hope it continues.

I am liking what I see so far. Grit hustle and good decision making on offense.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I don't think we're there yet, but I think we could be there in 2-3 seasons.

Phoenix would've threatened for the third seed in the East last year. We're not on that level, as far as talent goes.

I had started the same thread  sometime around September. These were the key points that were stated that made me sorta reconsider my statements

1.Dragic & Bledsoe  offensive game ran through the pick and roll which they executed very well. (they are also decent 3 point shooters as well)

2.Gerald Green shot 40% from 3 with about 2 or 3 times the amount of shots AB took last year.

3. Channon Frye spaced the floor in a way KO has yet to do so

4.Plumlee isn't a Shot blocker but definitely can alter shots on defense.

Something that might be of interest, the Hollinger Power Rankings have now begun.

The Celtics? Well according to his formula we are 8th in the league, not too bad to start the season.

Worth noting, that we've had the 2nd hardest schedule so far going by strength of schedule, Golden State has had the hardest which makes their start even more impressive.

I think it's closer to the truth than anyone will want.  C's have no interior defense, 1 decent rebounder, mediocre offensive players and no go-to scorer.  recipe for a lot of losses
