This is exactly what I predicted.

Celtics are devoid of serious playoff talent.

Maybe we can get a center ....this time ...since Utah and Philly have like six a piece from sucking for a thousand years.

All I want for Christmas is a legitimate starting nba center.

Have you been good?

How many times did Nelson , Harris,  Barea get past Rondo tonight? How many times did Rondo get beat in the PNR? What was the score after the 1st quarter and 1st half of the 2nd??

Ok now, when Smart came in and Rondo goes out with 3 min left, how did the Mavs do then?  In turn how did our offense perform??  The Mavs could not get setup on the offensive end with Smart all over whoever was bringing up the ball (though the PNR).

Smart's impact is significant out there. And Rondo's defense (letting a very important player though) is like a domino effect and messes up everyone else.  I don't know how many times Rondo tries to do his octopus wrap around stuff, after his man gets by him. Don't do that and stay in front of him, get physical and get by the picks.  There is no excuse that a smaller Barea is doing it but Rondo can't

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
i just sat down to watch the game and see it is functionally over. whoa, what a slaughter. has dallas even missed a shot?

fill me in, what happened that the celtics are getting creamed? i can read the box score, but please give me a cliff notes version of what happened.

thanks in advance.

Defense is horrible. Players are taking pull up jumpers and getting confident, because of the lack of help defense. Chandler blocked Bradley, Green is lazy on D as usual, and ball movement is nonexistent. While Rondo isn't doing much at all.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

No D whatsoever, they're shooting lights out, we can't take care of the ball

3 games is too small a sample on which to gauge this team's success for the season but I really think game 1 was the aberration, not game 2.  I thought these guys would win 27 games this year.  Now, I'm thinking I may have been a bit high on that number.

C's don't have a solid offensive scheme -- just chuck 3's if they can't get a transition bucket.  Perimeter D isn't what was expected from AB or Rondo.  KO looks to have regressed in every aspect of his game expect his passing.   Turner looks like he did with every other team rather than the guy we saw in preseason.

I knew teams with height would kill us but the last 2 games have been worse than could reasonably be expected

Rondo gave up. Those 3 point bricks were brutal.

Duuuudddddeeeee, lay off it. We all know you hate the guy. Though, I'm beginning to think you have a serious man-crush on Rondo, but you just project it out as hatred.  ;D

ARE YOU WATCHING THE SAME GAME AS THE REST OF US?

Rondo was guarding Monte Ellis. Bradley has been covering their PG. And except for some good pressure defense late in the 2nd quarter, Smart wasn't doing any better. In 12 minutes Smart is a -12. Its not like he became some disruptive force that caused the Mavs problems.
