Game just started. Even so far. Dallas up 13-10. Marc Gasol has 7 points already.

I'd love to see Brandan Wright take that 10-12 foot jump shot more often. He has a nice stroke on those short to medium range jump shots. It's a shame he doesn't use it.

But hey, why wreck your FG% taking jump-shots that help your team win games!

Mavs hot shooting getting them off to a fast start but Grizzlies look much more stable and capable of sustaining quality play going forward. I expect it is only a matter of time before Memphis take control of the game away from Dallas.

Oh, Jae Crowder blocking Marc Gasol. I like Crowder in this game for Dallas. They need a gritty player like him against a team like Memphis.

Dirk not even close on several of these shots. Side rimming badly. Not even able to advantage of Leuer here in the 2nd.

Mavs offense too dependent on Jameer / Parsons 3s and Wright's cuts to basket. They need to get something else going for them before they peter-out. Gotta get Monta or Dirk going.

Tayshaun Prince doing a good job defensively on Devin Harris and now Monta Ellis. Two small speedy guards. Tough covers for a 34 year old Tayshaun Prince.

Yeah, especially from their wings and guards.  The interior is still a work in progress, but their perimeter D seems to be in post-season form.
