Klay Thompson is going off on Memphis - 26 in the 2nd quarter, 37 for the half.

And this is a meaningless game for GS and very meaningful for Memphis.  Pretty incredible.

I feel badly for the Pelicans.  They've been killed by injuries all year, only to battle their way to a tie for the final playoff spot on the last day of the regular season.  Who do they run into?  The hottest team in the NBA, who still have something to play for.

San Antonio isn't the team that you want to play with your season on the line.

It's hard to feel too badly for the Pelicans when they've got at least 5 or 6 more years of Anthony Davis to look forward to.

I can't decide whether I'd rather see Westbrook try to take on the Warriors single-handedly, or watch Anthony Davis see playoff action for the first time.  Either team would get crushed by the Warriors, I am sure.

And out of those five or six years they fail to make the playoffs in all of them.  ;D

Yeah but I'm pretty sure if SA wins, they get the 2 seed and knock the Clippers back a spot.  That would improve our pick!

Do you really think that? Some of the traditional western powers are going to age at some point. Memphis has been anchored for a long time by players that are now in their 30's. I don't see how they replace Randolph and Gasol on the fly. I am not sure what will happen in with Green, but a rebuild seems likely in the future. The Mavericks have been good forever, but obviously Dirk and Chandler are nearing the end. Can they keep that going? I don't even want to write it, but also what happens to San Antonio. Many think Pop will retire the same day Duncan does. I think there will definitely be a few spots opening up over the next few years.

The NBA needs to figure out a way to give networks some programming flexibility with these season finales.  If you don't have league pass, you're stuck watching Hornets / Raptors, when you could be watching Spurs / Pelicans.

Yes SA get the second seed if they win, but if there is a tie for regular season record the league holds a drawing to break them for draft position.

Heat sitting Dragic, Wade, Deng and Whiteside tonight in last ditch effort to keep their draft pick.

The Pelicans with the big lead against the Spurs! Interesting to see if the can hold on and earn the last spot in the playoffs. (2Q 5:03 20 point lead)

The Thunder are winning easy against a tanking Timberwolves. But a win is not enough.

Miami's B squad is still beating them. And Brooklyn is losing against the Magic so the pick is gone at this moment. But the still got a second half to play.

When does Scott Brooks give Westbrook a seat in the 4th when they lead by 40?
